I went out with my brother tonight and this guy came up to us and offered my brother £200 "to spend the night with him". Obviously my brother said no but then he said he'd pay 50 for a blowjob round the corner. I took over at this point and told him to back off and we quickly left and went to a different bar. The guy had clearly had a few drinks but I was totally Shock at this, who just walks up to a random guy and offers him money for sex.

It happens to women all the time, doesn't it?

Marrow · 20/11/2010 00:14

A man offered my DH £20 for a blowjob in a pub in Brighton. I don't think DH has ever left a pub so quickly!

Pan · 20/11/2010 00:14

you didn't get his number then? Oh well.

tundra · 20/11/2010 00:17

I guess it does happen to women a lot and he is a good looking boy.

Well i am also shocked by that, how odd - it's not just you. was it a gay club or something? or in a well known gay area? i'd be shocked if that happened to a woman too though, tbh

tundra · 20/11/2010 00:20

No it wasn't a gay bar or in a gay area.

vixel · 20/11/2010 00:22

YANBU I'd be shocked too. How did he know that you weren't boyfriend and girlfriend.

ChippingIn · 20/11/2010 00:23

Wow

Is your brother gay?

tundra · 20/11/2010 00:24

No my brother isn't gay

OP posts:
frgr · 20/11/2010 00:26

did he do a nudge him at the same time whilst looking around suspiciously? perhaps it was a code, like "the lark flies at dawn", but updated for a modern spy?

numotre · 20/11/2010 00:28

YANBU to be honest if it had been me I'd have been worried that he might follow you into whatever bar you went to next

ChippingIn · 20/11/2010 00:32

Well, that's even more weird then?! I think my brother might have decked him!

MrsBonkers · 20/11/2010 00:33

Could be worse, could have offered him a pombear...

And marrow when you say he left the pub quickly, did he really need the 20 that much Wink

tundra · 20/11/2010 00:41

I was a bit worried that he might have followed us and I got him a taxi home as I didn't want him walking home alone in the dark, protective big sister that I am.

OP posts:
ShanahansRevenge · 20/11/2010 00:49

How come you took over? Is your brother younger?

tundra · 20/11/2010 00:50

Yeah he's only 20

OP posts:
Pan · 20/11/2010 00:56

So. Young good looking bloke gets offered by a gay bloke, who lacks confidence and fears he may have to get a bit drunk to summon up some dutch courage, loses what confidence he had when in the company of such a male adonis as your brother and so ends up fumbling some line about money when all he wanted was to be intimate and feel loved.
Poor bloke. We have all been there.

TheRedSalamander · 20/11/2010 01:00

Mrs bonkers and frgr I have just snorted tea through my nose

onimolap · 20/11/2010 01:01

At least this will have given you ammunition for years of inappropriate big-sister teasing about how your DB looks just like a prostitute.....

locotitis · 20/11/2010 10:18

YADNBU what a perv

Anniegetyourgun · 20/11/2010 10:22

I suppose it's just as well nobody offered me that much for my brother, because I'd probably have taken it.

[Disclaimer: I'm fond of my bro. But £200 is £200.]

TrillianAstra · 20/11/2010 10:22

Does this happen to women all the time really?

TheFeministParent · 20/11/2010 10:24

It doesn't happen to women all the time, well noone I know.

beebuzzer · 20/11/2010 10:25

My brother would have knocked his lights out.
