YANBU. At all. Bear

DiscoDaisy · 19/11/2010 20:59

You leave our Tel alone. He's lovely he is.

He's a national institution.
I like Terry!!!!!! Blush

ThatVikRinA22 · 19/11/2010 21:11

i love terry! and i love pudseyBear

BitOfFun · 19/11/2010 21:13

Oooooh Vicar- I haven't seen you in AGES!

Terry is a God. Did you see him on Buzzcocks last week? He was brilliant.

gapbear · 19/11/2010 21:17

Buzz cocks was so good we watched it again on iplayer, something we've never done before.

(My little crush on Noel Fielding may have been another reason, of course...Wink)

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 19/11/2010 21:36

Never EVER diss Terry Wogan! He is a God! When he gave up the breakfast show my world ended! Sad

MumInBeds · 19/11/2010 21:39

Leave him alone, he's an absolute treasure and a genuine and kind man - if he can do something to help someone he'd do it.

If you watched him presenting Buzzcocks last week you'd see he is far from passed it.

DiscoDaisy · 19/11/2010 21:39

I am so glad I'm not on my own in feeling this way about Terry. Grin
Eurovision has never been the same.

BelleDameSansMerci · 19/11/2010 21:40

gapbear I looooove Noel Fielding too. He's gorgeous Smile

As for Terry, he's lovely. I miss him on the Breakfast Show too. It's just not the same.

QueenOfTheNight · 19/11/2010 22:13

Step away from the Terry. He and his wig can do anything they want. He is fab. I spent my childhood listening to Terry's breakfast show and quite a few years of my adulthood when he came back to present it.

Tony Blackburn, Bruce Forsyth and their wigs are a totally different matter however! And bugger me, I have no idea whether Steve Wright wears a wig or not but he is as shite now, if not more so, as he was in the 1980's. I'd rather listen to Terry than him.

pointydog · 19/11/2010 22:16

I always swerve between quite liking and strongly disliking Tel.

He was v good on Never Mind the Buzzcocks so my opinion of him is quite good right now.

cybbo · 19/11/2010 22:19

I wont hear a word against Terry

But I loathe Children In Need

pointydog · 19/11/2010 22:21

Ach. The programme's pretty poor but the causes are good.

DoorstoManual · 19/11/2010 22:23

twenty5

He has more compassion and charity in his little finger than you will ever have in your spiteful and nasty body.

SuePurblybiltByElves · 19/11/2010 22:23

Right, i'll have to fight you too. His Terryness is above reproach. I cried when he left the radio.I listen to the terrible music on his Sunday show. I would almost watch Total Recall. Leave. Him. Be.

magicmummy1 · 19/11/2010 22:26

Of course he's past it, but like discodaisy says, he's a national institution.

Surely there has to be some respect for the man who gave the nation the floral dance?! Wink

DiscoDaisy · 19/11/2010 22:28

OMG I'd forgooten all about that!

DiscoDaisy · 19/11/2010 22:29

forgotten

See the excitement is making me type wrong

magicmummy1 · 19/11/2010 22:30

Forgot?!Shock How could anyone forget?!!

But I agree, it's probably for the best. Poor Terry!

cybbo · 19/11/2010 22:30

I cried when he left Wake up to wogan as well

pointydog · 19/11/2010 22:32

I really don't understand how anyone below the age of 60 could have cried when he left the breakfast show.

Did yo upeople blub when teh hairy cornflake left as well?

cybbo · 19/11/2010 22:33

Of course not pointy, Now yuou are being ridiculous

this explains why

only those with a HEART OF STEEL could fail to be moved Grin

DiscoDaisy · 19/11/2010 22:33

In my defence Magicmummy1 I think he did that before I was even born!

SuePurblybiltByElves · 19/11/2010 22:33

I was on my holliers (in South Devon, don't listen to R2 abroad or similar madness Grin) and he announced he was leaving. I blubbed like a baby, it was so sweet and so sad. Since then I have vowed to defend him from the pesky likes of the OP.
