Rec 2. "The Best Zombie Sequel Since Dawn of The Dead".

Not one single fucking zombie, and it was Spanish with sub-titles.

I wanted "proper" zombies for my £11.odd pence.

Am I within my rights to demand my money back?

dunno, but I want more information as how the misrepresentation of zombies numbers happened!

chibi · 10/10/2010 13:31

Did it not mention it was subtitled on the box

Lol at weeping cock

PenelopeTitsDropped · 10/10/2010 13:35

They weren't zombies; they were possessed by demons people, they only bit once, very quickly.

That IS NOT A ZOMBIE.

That is a POSSESSED BY DEMONS film.

Different genre entirely.

OP posts:
terryble · 10/10/2010 13:36

Oh dear! That's a horrific mistake. Sue!

Yes right at the bottom in the same box as the Age rating.

It wasn't the Spanish that bothered me particularly; it was the lack of genuine zombies that pissed me off.

chibi · 10/10/2010 13:45

I have always thought there is something unbearably sad about zombies, I don't think I could manage a whole film without feeling too overwhelmed

PenelopeTitsDropped · 10/10/2010 13:53

Zombies are indeed sad.
That's why they usually appear in Horror films and not, for example on "Antiques Roadshow" or "Britain's Next Top Model".

Having said that, they'd certainly be welcome on some other shows... "Come Dine with Me", "Celebrity Masterchef" et al would be much enhanced by zombies.

OP posts:
chibi · 10/10/2010 14:04

I mean they aren't scary in and of themselves

I suppose it is scary in an abstract see how we can be reduced to mere shambling insensate meat way

Zombie films leave me morose and unsettled not entertained

Vinegartits · 10/10/2010 14:08

YABU its not Tescos fault you picked a shite film

geraldinetheluckygoat · 10/10/2010 14:14

I dont get the weeping cock reference? There is surely not a place called weeping cock is there? Help me out here...

chibi · 10/10/2010 14:17

The village of weeping cock is just short drive down a b road near nether wallop if I'm not mistaken

PenelopeTitsDropped · 10/10/2010 14:18

I refer to the MN "Zombie Plan" thread.

I would also refer you to the fact that I'm a veggie and as such, being a Zombie would prove problematic for me.
I would also refer you to the fact that there are now university courses re zombies.

Vinegartits. Goods "not as advertised/described"
Not one single fucking zombie. Spanish or otherwise.

I always pick shite; but I want it to be accurately described shite.

Mumcentreplus · 10/10/2010 14:27

I miss the shambling zombie...nowadays those super-fast super strong zombies are way too scary...i mean their dead ffs!! they wont get tired..I would die for sure Sad

geraldinetheluckygoat · 10/10/2010 14:32

Well I did not know that. Shock

PenelopeTitsDropped · 10/10/2010 14:48

Weeping Cock is just my reaction to "cunting x y z".

I don't like my or other Womens' flowersome lady parts being referred to in anyway disparaging; and it also interferes with my sex life when I scream at crescendo" Oh Fuck my Mothercare harder"

So I have a weeping syphalitic cock instead.

Anyway; getting back to the matter in hand.

I paid good money for a zombie and didn't get a single fucking zombie.

OP posts:
Hassled · 10/10/2010 14:54

You're quite right to be upset. I'd be devastated.

Were the non-zombies wearing sombreros and eating paella? Did they throw in a few cultural stereotypes while they were at it?

Portofino · 10/10/2010 15:21
PenelopeTitsDropped · 10/10/2010 15:31

The Non Zombies did not wear sombreros and there was no paella anywhere in the film.

There were no major cultural sterotypes (in my opinion); they were all Spanish people dealing with demons. It would have made it easier to watch if they could have introduced an Italian, an Hungarian...... and a Zombie; or paella.

"Habbibu" A single fucking Zombie.
That's a wanking Zombie.

You're just being silly; zombies don't do that; as soon as they saw it; they'd bite it off.

No-one stocks it. Not even Waitrose. Send in a "product request" for Zombie porn and one gets no-where.

That's because they don't breed, they just bite people.

OP posts:
Habbibu · 10/10/2010 15:46

"Not even Waitrose." Because that would be your first choice for zombie porn stockage, if such a thing existed?

Vinegartits · 10/10/2010 15:52

correct me if wrong but Tesco dont make films, so how can it be their fault, they dont have a fucking zombie section either and they didn't make it/or write the description on the packaging

if you are that peeved then get onto the producer and director, tell them they made a shite film

i would be the same as me complaining to MNHQ for allowing such shite threads, but its not their fault though is it?

Habbibu · 10/10/2010 15:54

Tesco Do make films. And it's a funny thread, VT, I don't think she's actually serious.

lucy101 · 10/10/2010 15:56

Actually vinegartits.... the horrible truth is that Tesco DO make films now... not this zombie one but they are making this:

Don't watch Troll 2 then. Not only is it not a sequel to Troll 1 it doesn't even have any trolls in it.

It is, however, hilariously awful.
