Also, I made an observation ealier whilst doing some YouTube-based Armitage research. This will probably get me beatings from "da sistahood" but don't you think that RA has been, let's say, incompatibly coupled with some actresses.

Like, you'd really have to suspend belief to believe that he'd sex up Daniela Denby-Ash or Julie "cross-eyes" Graham.

I was thinking exactly the same about Julie Graham. DDA is very pretty but seems way too young (and drippy) for him in North & South

Whoever played Marion was a good match though, I (grudgingly) admit.

I thought DDA was lovely in North and South.

It's Marion I have more of a problem with, or that Sarah from Spooks last year with the dreadful American accent.

I thing RA is probably gay, but that's okay - means that no other mumsnetter woman can have him.
One of the things that I love about DH is that he discovered RA was in Spooks (I had never seen the programme - he used to watch previous series) and recorded it for me as he knows I perv about RA as GoG....
