To drink this much tea and coffee?

I drink 2-3 cups of coffee and 2-3 cups of tea a day

How much do you drink?

My days seem to go coffee, tea, coffee, coffee, coffee, tea. I have no idea how much is too much, tbh. There's no recommended whatsit on tea, is there?

YABU it should be much more than that!
I drink 6-8 cups of tea on an average day but I drink out of huge cups. They hold about a pint per cup.
I'm a tea fiend.

I have to have a tea in the morning and a tea at bedtime and normally a coffee or 2 in the day.

About the same as PersonalClown if I'm at home, less if I'm out as I'm super fussy about my tea.

oh good I am not that unusual! I hardly ever drank hot drinks before kids but now I feel like I am constantly reaching for the kettle.

I drink tea in pint mugs...about 7-8 per day. It is quite weak though.

I used to drink coffee but went onto decaff when I was trying to get pg. Was really ill actually, terrible pains in my legs and headaches so be aware that if you do try to cut down, its likely that your body is addicted to caffeine and will take a while to detox.

By the way, decaff coffee is SO disgusting that I started to drink tea..and here I am addicted again.

I drink shit loads of tea, i'm completely obsessed with tea. I have to have 2 cups prior to leaving the house and then one as soon as i get to work at 8.30am.

I have about 8 cups a day sometimes, i bloody love it.

I have six or seven large mugs of strong coffee a day - just off to have another one now, (with a chocolate ) - I did cut down for a while but it made no difference, apart from financially, I must spend over £8 a week on Taylors coffee ....... it's a small vice !

Like PersonalClown, I drink tea from a humungous mug amd must get through a good 8 or more cups a day. I can't focus, much less string a sentence together, until I've had at least two cups of tea in the morning.

I view non tea drinkers just as I do those who don't own/want to own a dog.

I seem to make hundreds of cups of tea every day, but I probably only drink about 4 or 5.
DH bought me an insulated cup but it makes the tea taste funny!

I think I read somewhere (this could be entirely spurious) that it takes 24 hours to process one coffee - so in theory that means one cup a day.

On a typical day I must have at least half a dozen coffees..

Let's see :

About 6-8 large mugs of coffee a day, the first two of which are cafeinated. By the afternoon I am on about 3 large mugs of tea. Then back to coffe (included in the 8 mugs above)

So about 10 BIG mugs a day.

today i have had 5 coffee and 2 tea and a diet coke. i love caffeine. some days more some less.

I have 5-6 hot drinks a day on average, mix of tea and coffee.

I have decaf at home, but drink caffinated at work and when out or at friends.

Okay ladies I thought I was a seasoned veteran in the caffeine war but some of you put me to shame. I started off worried about my caffeine intake but this thread has only made me vow to drink more

By the way for the coffee lovers amongst you my dh recently purchased for himself (and then me because I was so jealous) a cafetiere mug from amazon. I would highly recommend it.
