The letter has gone off the the LEA, merely to let them now there needs to be a better awareness of these incidents at school, it may or may not make a difference.

beertrickspotter I'm new here so wouldn't know how to remove a thread, can it be done? If I reported it (not sure how to do that either) would they stop it?

Yes, screw it, delete the thread. (I hid it AGES ago as I was getting beyong ranty, but had a look when it popped up in the active box over there)

Most MNers don't hold those views BTW.

Click on "Report" and just say that the thread has become very upsetting for you and that you feel you might have revealed too much info about yourself or something.

Just trying to work it out, to report it and try to get the thread removed, do I click report on my first comment at the begining of the thread or on one of occludos comments?

Click on your Original Post - (I can't remember if you can do that or not actually) it doesn't really matter, just click Report somewhere on the thread, and in the box write "I am the OP, please delete whole thread ....." and give your reasons.

Thank you shirleyknot I've just done that so now we'll wait and see.

Many thanks to all the 'good/kind' souls on MN, I know you are out there and you have helped me, you sometimes get lost amongst the bad ones on here though.

It might take a little while for MNHQ to get to it. My advise is for you to now HIDE the thread.

I had to hide that thread in the end. I didn't even bother to read all the crap he was spouting.

He will enjoy having his own thread though.

yorkshiremix, don't know if you're still reading the other thread, but just wanted to say that I think you did the right thing reporting to the LEA.

I don't know if it would go any further than just being recorded, but if it is a problem at that school, for other children along the line, then at least this record stands as evidence.
