Thank you everyone, the thread is about to be deleted. I've learnt some lessons here this past few days, good and bad. I hope that I will find the courage to, perhaps, ask for advice again one day but for now, let's put it to rest please.

I have to say that thread was one of the worse I have seen on here. Not you at the OP Yorkshire but the responses.

I can promise that MN is not like that in general and there are amazing people on here that give fantastic advice. Its just AIBU can make you think twice about people sometimes.
