Present for siblings

school mum has always given all four of her children presents on each one's birthday.

It is her oldest sons 8th birthday next week and now she asked me if I wouldn't mind getting all of the siblings a present too as they felt left out last year.

AIBU to feel annoyed. I am considering sending a snooty message and remembering I have something to do on that day after all

I think I would laugh and say 'ah, i know it's hard for them isn't it? they can take turns with oldest-sons pressie...' and maybe get something able to be played with by more than one child at a time.

But absolutely, of course no-one should go along with it. ridiculous (and if you weren't a long-term poster I'd be expecting this article to pop up in the Daily Mail as the next bizarre parents do these days... ie quite unbelievable...)

Maybe it will anyway, Adair-I hadn't thought of that

Yup, and it'll be phrased that we all said 'oh yes, quite the done thing, darling' and not 'eh?'
