excema cure

My daughter had really bad excema from about 4 months to 1 - 1.5 years. It disappeared overnight with this treatment.

We were in utter despair, for ourselves,
(no sleep, anxiety, peoples awful comments)and the poor babys suffering. We tried lots of things, as you do.

Miracle cure worked within a week. Basically you get curry leaves. You can get them from any asian grocery shop. They came in a big plastic packet. Boil a good handful in a big pot. Let it cool.

After bathing your child. Stand them up and from a clean bucket poor this liquid over them. It should be the last thing your child is rinsed in.

Dry them thoroughly and apply usual moisturiser. I used aveeno.

This worked in a week. He had perfect skin. The person who told me had a little boy with the WORST excema . He is a totally different boy, really beautiful skin.

Recently I heard its an ancient ayurvedic cure. All I know is it helped us and several other people.

I really hope this helps others with excema. Would love to know if it works for anyone else.

Here we go again.

Roneef you claimed you were far too busy to claim DLA because your child has eczema.

I pointed out that despite my daughter having cancer and my son having eczema I still managed to do so.

Its a form.

You intimated (as is your style) that those claiming DLA were 'making money off [their child's illness ]it'.

Perhaps you would like to go over to the SN boards and expand on this theory of making money out of disabilty, illness etc.

Frankly I am astounded that someone who has lost a child would ever accuse another bereaved parent of playing the victim card. It is the first time I have ever seen anyone do that.

You will not meet anyone who considers themself less of a victim than I. But if I choose to talk about my daughter I will do so, regardless of what you say or do.

oh che . Don't get upset by this. It was a heartless comment by roneef who has clearly been influenced by the fumes of her ancient ayurvedic cure.

ron, am pleased this worked for you. Like the eczema creams, it often is the way that what works for one child doesn't work for another but nightcat's thoughts on DLA are pretty much the thoughts of just one person and who knows how many families she sees a year and in what circumstances. You certainly can't take that and generalise!

trellism · 10/06/2009 23:30

My dh tries to yell at me to stop scratching too.

It doesn't work. Scratching is lovely. You just have to know when to stop...

Of course, should the sprog come out red raw and scratching, I will probably be dunking it in all sorts of gunk, even though I know it won't do any good at all.

Fingers crossed the little lamb has your eyes, your nose but not your skin

HI, IREALLY HOPE YOU CAN ALL RESOLVE YOUR DIFFERENCES AND MOVE ON....the fact of the matter is Roneef has kindly suggested a treatment which worked for her and wishes it works for others as well....i thankyou Roneef and am keen to try as i will try anything. plese can you explain a little further, you may have somewhere in this thread but its difficult to find amongst the bikkering!
so i use handful of curry leaves (dry or fresh?) in a pan of boiling water...how long do you boil?do you strain the leaves?about how much water?..then bathe ds normally and rinse off with this water, right?then moisterise as normal..and do this for a week everyday?...so after this your child had no more red itchy flare ups. did you do the treatment again?what do you do instead?it it normal bathing?does your child have no more flare ups?...i know too many questions but my 6 month old is suffering so much and cannot sleep at night for the itching...pls reply.thanks

roneef · 11/06/2009 13:04

Kutilputil

Fresh leaves. 3 or 4 mins after initial boil should be enough. I did strain the leaves. Yes to the next three questions.

I personally did the treatment for a week once.

It worked so I just carried on normal bathing and moisturising that suited my dd.

If particularly bad then carry on treatment for a few weeks. My friend did this for a month.

Hopefully should make a significant difference.

My dd ok now but still has to be well moisturised etc. THe rawness and incessant itching is gone.

Eczema is a condition that has such a variety of forms and affects such a wide range of people that of course there will be cures for some that are a lot simpler than for others.

I agree with that completely. I also think it is always helpful to someone somewhere to hear about things that have helped other sufferers as with any illness.

Some people are more open to this than other people and usually there are two reasons.

a) Because they think it is all nonsense.

b) Because they are at the end of their tether after being prescribed lots of things by practitioners.

I am yet to hear of an eczema sufferers parent preferring to claim the DLA though in this day and age we do know it happens with all benefits in some cases.

I am frankly appalled to see the level of slanging going on over dead children .

Don't think any one can be accused of playing the victim card other then when referring to their own personal life i.e. not the illness of their child.

The fact the words came out of your foul mouth when you are bereaved parent is even more unbelievable.

Seriously, engage your brain before you type so we don't have to read this shit.

Just want to say, although I onyl add a small contribution to this thread every now and then, I fully agree withthe sensible people, I thought the comment to che re v card just ridiculously silly and I did appreciate the earlier back-up.

I know I need to stay away from this, though
