I am really poor at links, and have no idea if this works.
this was treatment carried out by a alternative practictioner.

It never ceases to amaze me why people think they can fly in the face of medical advice and not get harmed.

It does not say if there were EpiPens on hand but I very much doubt it. Can you imagine thinking you can treat someone for a peanut allergy when you have no medical training at all. Fair enough, try to decrease the symptoms but to actually give a peanut? Why not just play russian roulette?

Our DD is being desintitised as you know but the lengths the hospital go to ensure she is never at risk and god forbid if she did start to exhibit any reactions the medical staff are right there to handle it.

Alternative medicine does have excellent results I am sure in some fields but not anaphylaxis.
