I am trying to get a good solid translation for phrases for a freind, she needs to make sure their is no confusion, for obvious reasons.

  • No ice please.
  • No fruit please, I am allergic.
  • It will make me ill!
  • Anaphylactic shock.

And any other helpful phrases you can think of to explain to waiters etc.

  • Raw tomato.
  • Raw apple.
  • pomegranite

Plus loads of other fruits but I will have to check the list to make sure I get them all.

'chiCHINgero, chiCHINgero' pippi has never heard of this either so she wanders off repeating 'chiCHINgero, chiCHINgero' as well...

I need your help oh cultured people... do you know a good poem or piece of literature that could be read during my FIL's funeral? nothing cheesy

I have got some from Raymond Carver but want to give some choice to DH and SIL.

I'll post somewhere else too...

Ellbell · 15/05/2007 20:39

English or Italian, Pippi?

[Oh, and sorry to hear about your FIL...]

Ellbell · 15/05/2007 20:39

Also... religious or laico?

PippiLangstrump · 15/05/2007 20:48

Well freind say thankyou so much.

Tips like avoiding icecream due to transfer and the fact that perhaps her allergy won't be taken to seriously was helpful too.

I earned myself a big choclate cake for my help so I offer you all a cyber slice for your help .
