Sorry if this is the wrong place.

I am trying to find out if there is any such thing as support for birth parents parents following adoption.

Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Morning. Have a look at coramBAAF. They have a list of useful resources for birth parents.

Also have a search of this topic. There was a thread a little while ago of birth parents supporting each other. Sorry I have no idea how to link things.

@SupportingHim as a birth parent there is some support but it does tend to be limited.

You should firstly contact the adoption agency- for me that was the local authority and ask for support. They do have a legal duty of care to all involved in the adoption process including birth parents and may be able to provide post adoption counselling though an independent provider.
