A positive update from me!

I had to start a new thread, because being able to post a positive thread feels like progress So, let me boast about my DS a wee bit

DS got Star of the Week at school for last week!!

I'm so damn proud of him. He's had to cope with such a lot since going to back to school, and it's not been easy, but it's wonderful, wonderful, to see him making progress. His teacher said he got it because he's improved on his behaviour and handling his emotions so much since the start of October. Apparently he was a totally different child in the last 2 weeks to what was going on back in September. Now he has a nice mini-certificate thing and a sticker, and he was very pleased with himself as well

I need to take a moment to say that his teacher is a lovely person as well, so understanding, and great with DS

Also, on a smaller scale, I ate an Orange Club Bar earlier and it tasted really nice instead of bland

It was rather lovely for him to have a week off as well!

Well done to him, you both must be super chuffed! I remember the feeling of getting a certificate at school (not that it happened often, punishment exercise more like)

Aaaaand, I can't remember orange clubs, will have to try hunt some out in sainsburys, I don't think I've ever tried them!

It's stuck in my head now- to make me feel better I will also show dh & see if it has the same effect on him.
