Presumably my university is not alone in having a transgender policy that states, amongst other Stonewall Speak, that transgender people may use any toilet of their choosing?

Presumably this policy will now have to change?

I've seen that the NHS and other public bodies will be issued with renewed guidance - will the same be done for universities?

Do you have proof this was at the rally, and was it in Jo’s original X post?

As I have said many many times it is clearly visible in the fourth image Jo shared. You'll have to check with her where she took the picture but as she says it's from the rally we have no reason to believe otherwise.

Jo Grady posted four pictures from a rally in London today on X saying she was “proud to be there”. The fourth picture clearly shows a placard being held up that states “The only good terf is a dead terf”.

Good Lord. I go and have dinner and a poster is trying to establish a case of libel via posting on Mumsnet. Courts are the more usual forum but I’m prepared to entertain this as an alternative.

It’s very sweet that you want to protect Jo like this but I’m sure that she probably already has access to a defamation lawyer, given that she admitting libelling someone on Twitter a few years ago and had to pay him tens of thousands of pounds. Now that you’ve sent her my post, I’m sure her lawyer can deal with it and I’ll await their correspondence.

May I give you a little advice while we wait for that letter? Not everything that you don’t like reading is libellous.
