The last couple of sentences on the Daily Mail story are reprehensible.

I've done the maths and their daughter is now 18/19 - maybe this has been on the cards for a while but they've been waiting till she leaves home/goes to university? The radio report of this I heard said that the decision had originally been made in October.

It's been cut now. It did say something about their daughter and how they had said they would support her if she wanted to find her birth mother when she's 18 but they didn't want anybody (ie the press) making that choice for her. Then underneath it had a 'got a showbusiness story ring us on ' - talk about ironic!

i assumed they split due to their adopted daughter reaching 18, then there was an article on jeremy vine about staying together for the sake of the children. i thought it related.

He is so irritating, isn't he?
Don't know about her, but he has been acting out some kind of midlife crisis for years now.

I find him extremely irritating and rather predictable. She has really evolved as an actress whereas he appears to have stood still.

I found this quite sad too. Why do people not like him?
