I didn't know Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet had split until yesterday.

That's very sad. I did think it odd when I read something a while ago about her wanting to leave London and move the whole family to somewhere in the country (Devon I think) as they both seemed the London type to me. Perhaps it was an attempt to improve their relationship.

Hasn't he been serially unfaithful? I wonder why Dawn has decided to split now (I'm assuming it was her decision, I don't know why).

There seems to have been a recent peak of long-term celeb couples breaking up. I was quite shocked by Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins splitting up. Did Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell split too, or am I imagining that?
