Anyone else rather addicted to FarmVille?

am off to harvest strawberries, getting bored of them too

I have been harvesting strawberries all week and still don't have my second star

I am very excited by all the lovely Country Fair bits and pieces, I've bought the carnival tent and the float and brightened up my farm no end.

Am also very pleased to be able to store away all the crap lovely gifts I've been accumulating.

Must try and get a life as this is close to the most exciting thing to happen all week.

Although have 2 stars just trying to get the last one and its taking forever

alfa, I have been going through and helping all my neighbours every day, including you. I have noticed though that I get a notification saying "alwayslookingforanswers and 4 others have fertilised your crops" but I arrive on the farm to find that only 5 squares are fertilised. Now it is possible that each person only did one square but somehow I think not....

I've given up on blackberries, I've harvested hundreds and hundreds over many days, and the grey bar on the harvestry-ometer never gets any longer. Rubbish.

I should have had my Bell Pepper 2 stars by now I am sure they slow it down

More strawberries planted today, I had better get 3 stars by the end of the weekend.

sweetkitty - am thinking exactly the same re getting final star on pumpkins by end of tom.

You probably already know this but if you hoover the mouse over the star bar it tells you exactly how many fields there are until you get your next star - helps keep the motivation up a bit as the bar can barely move even after many fields if it is a quick crop with a high total required.

I am working on getting one star for every single crop at the moment but for some reason am having no luck in keeping up with blueberries. I managed to get the strawberry star easily enough and that is a 4 hour crop too but the blueberries keep withering.

I am going to have to employ a timer at this rate and refuse to go out when my crops are due to be ready!!!

I have a question on Farm Town that has been bothering me which you lovely experts might be able to solve for me.

Why is it that some people (i.e. me and some others as well) have a green margin round all their fields and others have no tiny gap between their fields at all. I did wonder if it was a level thing but I am on a higher level than other people with gapless fields now and mine hasn't changed. It is annoying as I could probably get at least one possibly 2 more fields on every row and column if it were not for these little margins.

Well this morning I have

Moved up to Level 43
Got my Level 1 Sunflower Mastery

Niecie - I have given up with FarmTown - just didn't seem to be going anywhere in terms of Development of the game. No new levels, no new crops, etc etc etc

Anyhow - irrc if you click on the tool bar icon (think it's a little wrench?) and select "remove space between fields" that should sort it - it's been weeks since I was last on it so hopefully someone else that can remember more clearly will come along and help you

Just seen this thread - I am quite addicted - when I can bloody well get into it - which is not very ofter last couple of days!

Am hoping to finish my Pea Mastery today and push up to about half way thru level 33.

I'm having problems accepting gifts on FV right now, Country Life is down for mainanence, I've already been on Country Story and Island Paradise and done stuff that needs doing there..........god I might have to do some housework or something

OMG - I'm gutted - I removed Farm Town from my applications last week, couldn't be bothred to get up to level 34 and sit there, and although the new fuel thing was great I was bored of the crops.

I've just heard that they've improved it, new crops, more levels...........

Have just re-added it........and starting all over

Didn't know about the hovering over the bar thing, thanks for that only about another 400 harvests of strawberries to go then.

Thanks I'm getting frustrated as you seem to whizz through the levels and then it gets harder and takes you ages to get to a new level.

So who is on the highest level then?

As far as new developments go, FT introduce loads of new crops yesterday, as you say, and there is talk of more expansions. Do you have the seeders and the harvesters?

Still can't do much with the animals though which I find a bit strange. Have always preferred FV because of that and now I think FT is coming 3rd to Country Life. Still can't give up on it though - the words of a true addict!

I only go on FT every 3 days as prgress is sooooo slow

Probably lost crops on country lufe
