Oh please please please let it somehow be Henry Cavill. Is anyone here deciding? Can you choose Henry?

He doesn't seem to be in the running anymore does he? I think Jack Lowdon would be good. Jack O'Connell would be amazing but I think he would be wasted on Bond.

Henry cavill is too old, they need someone to carry it for a while. As much as I love him, the timing was never right.

I also can't see River Cartwright as Bond, it's too weird. But otherwise I think he would be good.

If it's Jack Lowden, I might actually watch it for once....

I really feel they need someone less high profile.

@hotmumshit Agree about Idris, I'd have liked to see David Tennant get to grips with Bond, but he might have missed the boat I guess, as has Clive Owen.

Me neither. He’s fab in Slow Horses. But he’s not rugged enough for Bond imo! He also comes across as being a bit petit

Idris Elba would have been great. Great big strapping handsome and just the right amount of older / craggy.

I’d be very pleased with Jack Lowden. He’d not be River Cartwright, he’d be James Bond. I also used to think he was short but he’s actually 6’1, so tall enough.

i love Jack Lowden, but i love him in Slow Horses and surely that is a bit too similar to James Bond

I can't escape the rather brilliant notion that if Jack Lowden gets it, James Bond will (sort of) be played by Morrissey 😂
