June 2010, we were both 28. We’ve been together ever since, happily married 7 years this past August.
Whilst on one hand it would have been great if we’d met each other earlier in life to have had more time together, like @RibenaCocktail in many ways I’m quite glad we didn’t. Us being in our late 20’s when we met meant that we’d built up invaluable life experience and had matured as people. It also meant we’d had the chance to have previous relationships and learn all the pertinent lessons from them, particularly gaining the clarity around what we both wanted/needed from a partner as part of a healthy, loving and happy relationship.
