17 I met him but didn't date until I was 20.

I was 31 I think

I was 43 when I got together with the wife. She was 45. We had known each other for a few years prior.

ETA - first marriage for both of us.

He was sort of always there so not sure when I first met him, but he was in the same year at school as my brother and we lived in a village so I ‘met’ him at some point in my childhood or teen years. When we started seeing each other I was 20 and he was 23.
