Any suggestions to buy something for 4.40 at John Lewis?

I’m at checkout and £4.50 short of free delivery so as the delivery cost is similar, I might as well buy something. For those idling away time, suggestions. Any bargains to be had?

Is there a 'sale' tab? Maybe look at home wares in there. You might get a spoon, glass, potato peeler or something like that.

Some chocolates or biscuits, a mug or a small glass jar, or a William Morris tin.
I personally would buy something to do with sewing/my sewing machine. Maybe needles or some notions.

See I’ve bought stuff like this before for stocking fillers and they end up at the charity shop

trying to usefully spend £5 is not easy!

candle or diffuser?

Or go well over the £4.50 but get something you will definitely use, even if not straightaway - your usual foundation or mascara or perfume or something. At least then it's not an excess purchase, just buying something you would get anyway, just a bit earlier.

Editing only to say that their candles have up in price - I remember having a free £5 voucher to spend last year, and spent it on that - the exact same one is now £7!
