Similar here
Bit dizzy, weak across shoulders, bit fever sweats, paracetamol seems to work
x 2 (me & eldest) -ve COVID tests (but they might be old do they run out?)

I'll do another one but there isn't much up nose to test really

frozendaisy · 02/10/2026 18:48

Doing another test from back of mouth .........

Teaforthetotal · 02/10/2026 18:52

Had something similar about three weeks ago. Tested negative for COVID but it was definitely similar. Felt quite sinusey but didn't have the usual sneezing and snottiness that accompanies a standard cold. Ger well soon OP.

Yes, headache, achy legs, bit nauseous, tired for last couple of days and my heart resting rate was up about by 10 on my Apple Watch which is a sure sign something is afoot. I have been carrying on as usual but just feel off so it's not much I hope

thenightsky · 02/10/2026 19:48

I'm on day 13 and now got the headache every day that a PP mentioned. Plus a feeling of nausea.

Wonkybaby · 02/10/2026 20:09

Update, tested positive for Covid today.
DC1 refuses to test as he hates things up his nose 😂 but has lost his sense of taste.

Eggybreadwithnuts · 04/10/2026 07:21

So one week in after feeling on off all week with no cold appearing...but wake up at 6am today razer blade throat, feel dreadful.😵‍💫

How weird, I had to click on this thread as I was starting to wonder myself what this is..

Identical symptoms plus coughing, had it for 9 days now. I’m not in the UK though. I thought it would go away at least this weekend but woke up again having nearly lost my voice.

Fallulah · 04/10/2026 08:02

I did one day of work last week in the end and still don’t feel right. Snot has almost gone 😷 but now I have a sore throat. Just feel generally very ‘low’! Am sure it’s covid as sense of taste and smell have only come back a little in the last 24 hours.

Getalittle · 04/10/2026 15:04

Yep my throat is also now sore

baroqueandblue · 04/10/2026 18:49

Think this explains how I've been feeling the last few days. Light-headed, muzzy headache, shattered, bit of a cough, slight runny nose, and the aches in my legs are horrid! Plus, in the last 12 hours or so, my stomach is all over the place and I'm getting some nausea and low appetite.

Altogether, not nice and I wish it would get gone!

Edited to add: I've had the achey throat for a few days on and off too, with slight chills and then occasionally feeling a bit overheated 🤨

Eggybreadwithnuts · 05/10/2026 12:00

UPDATE...
So after 1 week and 1 day of feeling dizzy, tired.... finally full blown cold...in bed thats how yuk i feel.

Sore throat last night and freezing cold, shaking...then woke at midnight baking hot. Runny nose this morning and headache. No way i could go to work.

Taken a whole week to come out unless this is something else??? On thursday person at work had full on cold but too soon im guessing for symptons from that if I got anything from them.

It went on for three full weeks, I'm only just coming out the other side. Good luck

LondonLass2026 · 05/10/2026 14:58

Yep!

I thought it was over-tiredness following a 3-day offsite I've been to, then I thought it was premenstrual tiredness but I don't think it's either. It just will not shift.

Idstillratherbepaddleboarding · 05/10/2026 20:40

Yes! Literally all of these symptoms. It’s annoying because it’s bad enough to make me feel crappy but not enough to be off work 🙁.

beigetriangle · 05/10/2026 20:42

yes
have hantaebolaswineflupxplague
(not really, just an unpleasant cold)

hope you feel better soon

NeighbourShagsParkingSpace · 05/10/2026 20:52

Yip, feeling all the symptoms listed in the op for the past week.

Covid test was a strong positive this morning.

piscofrisco · 05/10/2026 20:56

I had this three weeks ago. It was Covid. dH, DD and about ten people at my work currently down with it. It’s nasty.

Eggybreadwithnuts · 05/10/2026 22:28

Will do a test tomorrow I akways like to know. No taste or smell today either

Yes which I am furious about. I’ve been so careful using first defence, sanitising my phone and everything to avoid the new term lurgy and once again I’m going down with it.

Romeiswheretheheartis · 05/10/2026 22:57

This sounds like what my dd who's just started uni has, poor thing.

SheWillBeTheDeathOfMe · 05/10/2026 23:07

Yep, I have it. I have been in the US for work and my colleague over there is really poorly and it is Covid, so assume I have it too.

I don’t have it badly but feel exhausted, headache, dizzy, aching limbs and my vision is a bit blurry at times.

I think it is everywhere as my mum had same had the same thing, including vision while I was away.

Yeah my vision last week was off, I had to keep blinking hard to clear it

Interesting. I started feeding really lightheaded and spaced out about a month ago, that seems to have lessened and comes and goes now, but I'm also exhausted and headachey, nauseous. No cough/cold symptoms though. And not bad enough to miss work really - just annoyingly almost constant feeling bleugh.

Had a blood test and it was low end of normal on iron so I was assuming it was that and/or stress. Now I'm wondering if it's a virus.
