What move have you seen the most times

This was just asked on Classic fm and I thought it was a great question so wanted to ask it here.

What movie/ tv series have you seen the most times?

It has to be watched it fully not having it on for the kids while you dont pay attention.

For me its the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice
For dh it's white Christmas (mil loved it and it was on every year)

Dirty Dancing. But all this 'movie'...Can't we just say film, like we always used to?

Die Hard - at least once a year (on Christmas Eve)
The Wizard of Oz
Fantasia (the original; it's beautiful)

edited to add: Melancholia, possibly my favourite film of all time - not sure how I almost forgot that!

Either Jurassic Park or Aladdin (1992).

I thought it was the type of move a potential partner might make to encourage a date! 😁

Dirty Dancing - I could go on Mastermind, I know every word and every song lyric. ETA Grease 2.

Titanic and Stand by Me are up there too

Film would be either Dirty Dancing or Grease I think. Possibly Pretty Woman.

I can’t think of an entire tv series I’ve watched more than once. I’m sure there must be so will ponder on that one! There are definitely episodes I’ve watched again due to repeats and always being on TV eg Friends, Place in the Sun and Escape to the Country! 🤣

Oh yes i had forgotten that one!

The Princess Bride. It is my all time favourite movie and have watched it regularly since I was a child. I even got to see it on the big screen for it's 30th anniversary showing on my 31st birthday. We have watched The Big Bang Theory several times over but it is currently our background noise bedtime dvd.

The worm

Really old school but there’s a movie called “Trapeze” with Tony Curtis and I used to watch it with my grandparents on a Saturday afternoon.

Steel Magnolias is another I used to watch with my DM growing up, along with The Sound of Music and Grease.

Disney classics like The Little Mermaid and Aladdin were childhood staples coming back round to watch now with my girls

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, followed by Notting Hill and Die Hard.

Dirty Dancing. My best friend and I wore out her VHS tape because it would constantly be on in the background whenever I was at her house for a sleepover. We could probably still recite the whole film!

Withnail and I, Ferris Bueller and Die Hard probably - although also Lilo and Stitch when stranded on holiday with an obsessed 2 year old with chickenpox.

Yes I’ve seen the 1995 P&P about 8 times. My favourite movie is Close Encounters of the Third Kind about five times. Quite a number two/three times as I’ve introduced many to my kids.

Movie would be Jaws or Ghostbusters.
TV series is The House of Eliott and Darling Buds of May (the original David Jason one.)

So did I, therefore the chat up line that I used to get was - and this is bizarre -

"Are you an air hostess? You look like you could be an air hostess."

Nevermind the use of the expression, "Air hostess" rather than cabin crew but it happened quite a lot and I always wondered what they were trying to imply. Was I well groomed and looked good with my hair in a tight bun?
Was I presumably just passing through and would be up for a casual fling?

I have asked male friends and Him Himself and the best reply I've ever had was, "Fnar. Hhm. Er."

I listen to Frasier every single night to fall asleep and have done for 20 years 😳 and I have watched buffy on repeat countless times.

A couple of old "TV" films I love and still watch regularly are

Minder on the Orient Express
One foot in the Algarve.

Both utterly hilarious.
