What move have you seen the most times

This was just asked on Classic fm and I thought it was a great question so wanted to ask it here.

What movie/ tv series have you seen the most times?

It has to be watched it fully not having it on for the kids while you dont pay attention.

For me its the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice
For dh it's white Christmas (mil loved it and it was on every year)

Probably The Mummy with Rachel Weisz, or Night of the Living Dead. Both my comfort viewing!
Series, probably Luther.

I changed it twice too before posting and still it went back to move without I saw it

Grease and Pretty woman are probably around the same for me, Grease might be slightly ahead.
If either of them come on the TV when I’m doing something else I have to stop and watch.

Shirley Valentine - I know it word for word. I also watch the series Benidorm on repeat.

Ice Cold in Alex, Hobson's Choice, All the Christmas Carols, Scrooge. Series, The Bridge and The Tunnel.

I've watched the whole of Buffy the Vampire Slayer more times than I can count!
Also Star Trek TNG and the Star Trek movies (not the first one, ain't nobody got time for that!!)
Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End are regulars.

The lost boys and Purple rain has to be over a 100 now 🥰

Movie would probably be between Less Than Zero (my favourite ever movie, and best adaptation of a Brett Easton Ellis novel, better than the book imo, whereas his other books are far better than the movies, in particular American Psycho, movie is way inferior), and Dirty Dancing. At the time DD came out we watched it loads and had both the soundtracks on cassette (I’m so old!), but as an adult I’ve watched Less Than Zero more. The first time I watched it (I would’ve been around 15ish) I was in literal buckets of tears! I’d never cried at anything until that film. The ending got me so badly, my friend I watched it with went down to talk to my mum while I composed myself as I didn’t want anyone to know that I’d cried 😂 it still made me cry so many times that I watched it afterwards even though I knew the ending. I don’t think I’ve ever cried at anything since, maybe the odd tear or two, but nothing like that, I’m just not a crier! Would love to know if anyone else saw it too.

Oh yes, Lost Boys as well! Another one I’ve watched loads and loved the soundtrack to. Both Less Than Zero and Lost Boys were movies I introduced my daughter to. Another that I’ve just remembered, because I also watched with my daughter a couple of times as well, is Weekend At Bernie’s. The bit with the speedboat had me in hysterics 😂 if anyone has seen it you’ll know the bit I mean. The whole movie is daft but I love it. I think the 80s movies with their main usual set of actors - Robert Downey Junior, Andrew McCarthy, Rob Lowe, James Spader etc - were mostly great, especially as a teen. I had the most intense crush on Rob Lowe, I thought he was beautiful 😄

I imagine that my most-watched series would probably be The Good Life. It came out long before I was born, and I was met with a lot of, "Are you sure?"s when I asked for the box set on DVD one Christmas, but I love the idea of growing most of my own fruits and vegetables, and keeping livestock, Sadly, my gardening skills leave a lot of room for improvement, although I'm good at keeping my animals happy and alive!

Film - toss up between The Sound of Music and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

TV - probably QI.

Point Break (1991) and The Gentlemen for films.
True Detective ( seasons 1 and 4 specifically) is my most watched TV series.

I’ve watched Grease and Grease 2 many many times. I’ve also watched Friends and Red Dwarf so much I can now quote the majority of the scripts.
