Thought it would be fun to wait together and see how many get lucky! Me, DH & BIL in the ‘draw’ here.

We went to Wembley last time which was incredible but we are in the NW so ideally looking for the Etihad but have Knebworth & Glasgow as options.

Depends on how you want to access the event. Walk, coach or drive?

It's walkable from Stevenage. There's a few hotels in and around Knebworth & Stevenage, but not many. Hitchin is possible but likely need taxi or Uber.

For Iron Maiden, they put on buses and shuttles and the entire thing was a total shit show.

Strongly advise hotel + walk, or park + walk vs driving.

Ok thanks. Looks like walking to Stevenage might be a goer. We’re only in London, but I suspect public transport will be a nightmare after the gig. Thanks though, good to know what the options are

There are a lot of business travellers to the area and Premier Inn charges a premium as a result.

It’s not looking good for us. All the Saturday tickets for our slot are gone and we got as far as checkout for one of the Sunday’s before it said tickets were all gone on that day. Back in the queue for one last attempt.

We’re sorted here! Have managed to pay off one of the teens (who genuinely isn’t a fan!) by offering the face value of a ticket in cash, so me, DH, DD & lovely BIL are going to the Etihad! 🥳

I wondered if the ‘what is your location’ was used as some sort of filter. Also, previous ticketmaster booking history.

I wondered if I got the code this time because I was unsuccessful last time. (I got a code but didn’t get a ticket).

But then my siblings would have received one and as yet they haven’t.

we’re in! We had to get the tickets which included a coach, which we didn’t really want. But still, we’re going! And to Knebworth too, where I’ve always wanted to see them!

Got a code for the 1-4 sale today for Knebworth. Logged in at 12.30 to join the waiting room, transferred to the queue at 1pm.... where I was number 5000+. Message at 1.25 saying limited availability for the Saturdays. Got through at 1.34pm and the only tickets available were VIP for £513.

You have to join a queue for a specific date, you can't just join a general queue. It's an utter gamble about which queue to join. I tried again for Sunday dates, but all the "cheap tickets" were gone and only £500+ tickets left (lots of them!)

This is maddening. I’m in, it’s saying that General Admission tickets are available and lets me add them to my basket but when I go to checkout it says they are no longer available. I’ve been trying to add them constantly for the last 25 mins now, but nothing.

This looks like the exact situation I’m in. So annoying.

Nope knebworth is a nightmare so I’ve avoided those.

Got a code for Manchester tomorrow. Would have preferred a repeat of Cardiff which is where I went last year, but Manchester was best out of the venues available this time around.

We had to do the same, I’m wondering if the coach is going to be stopping all different places picking people up/dropping them off ? Don’t think I could cope with that 😂 wouldn’t mind if it’s straight there and back

I’ve actually just realised you can camp there! That might be a good option. Not sure if anyone here has done that before …

Got a code!!!

Question - The email came through to me, in my name, but I’m looking to get 3 tickets for DS and his friends. Does anyone know if it’ll be a problem that the code is in my name?

I take it there are more codes allocated than actual tickets available? I’m just thinking if there is no general sale and someone (for whatever reason) applied, got a code but didn’t go on to purchase.

£173 per ticket which I don’t think is too bad when the support is Richard Ashcroft, and Liam has said this afternoon that more support acts are yet to be announced.

Still no code for me. Losing hope now 😢

It might be a good idea to look into that. I still have flashbacks of leaving Knebworth after seeing Queen about 40 years ago, it was a horror, in the middle of a very large moving crowd for hours, I nearly had an attack of the vapours. It seemed to take all night to get home. Maybe it's improved now if people know that have been recently.

I didn’t realise that either - although I’m not a camper so still wouldn’t be for me 😂 Worth looking into though if you’re a happy camper!
