I don't miss him.

What is he up to these days anyway ?

:-)

Adding to the population and training around Ukraine? Other than that, no idea and don’t care.

Speaking engagements, journalism, Ukraine support. For all the years he spent in the spotlight and achieving the job of PM he has seemingly vanished. I suspect he is not playing the buffoon now and is monetising his experiences and enjoying the high life without the pressure of Govt It was always about him anyway.

Will someone please enlighten me. How the fuck do you 'win AI'? I know, you prevent it from getting a nuclear bomb, right? Isn't that how we 'won' in Iran?

Dumbass. And yes, Scrotus, I do know that dumb has a 'b' in it. Do you know that fuck has a U in it?

I can't open your link, but I can give you a quick non AI summary. For it is a fascinating tale of hegemony, an unfinished civil war, communist 5 year plans, corporate welfare, a Dutch company that makes machines, video games, and robot dogs with machine guns bolted on their backs. And in my opinion, Biden and Trump come out of it near equally as bad. Almost. But Trump Trumps Biden... cos corruption. I sort of follow it, because it is a big deal where I am.

Apologies for errors I make, and if I am saying anything ppl know.

Video games use graphics chips. US company . US company NVIDIA make the best video chips. And they make them in Taiwan using machines used by Dutch company ASML. Then AI comes along, and AI folk use these graphics chips to create their AI. They use tens of thousands of these chips.

Uncle Xi sees this Ai and thinks it is great. He fully embraces it, puts it in his 5 year plan and near the whole state power is put to work. And they come out with a robot "AI" dog, with a machine gun on it's back. But that is propaganda.

Biden sees this. It worries him, because dogs are not supposed to machine guns, so he bans the sale of graphics chips to China. He also bans ASML from selling them chip making machines. China are not happy, so they set out to make their own chips, and machines.

As mentioned, NVIDIA make the chips in Taiwan. And China claims Taiwan and plan to invade. So Biden bungs NVIDIA billions to build chip plants in the US. The CHIPS act. But Taiwan are not so sure, because these chip factories are part of their security against China invading them. Cos Taiwan will just blow them all up and then nobody will get the chips. So Biden offers Taiwan enhanced defense deals.

China are not happy at all.

But the deal is done. And China come out with their own AI, called Deepseek. And they claim they done it with cheaper lower tech Chips. China ramps up AI to dominate the AI tech side.

Then Trump. And he lifts the ban on NVIDIA selling chips to China, because.... he demands a cut on money NVIDIA make from selling them to China. Always a buck to be made.

China take the chips, but at the same time they claim they do not really need them, because not only are they now making their own chips, but also the chip making machines. And China ramp up their propaganda. They put AI into everything, from tractors to warships, and robot dogs with machine guns strapped to their backs, Mk2... Mk3....

Then of course, the tech bros, who donate lots of money to Trump, cos crapyto, they tell Trump about the dangers of China having all these robot dogs with machine guns on their backs, the same tech bros who want to eliminate competition.... and so Trump declares that the US must win the AI race.

I think that is about it.

By the way.... much of the more recent propaganda footage China puts of robot dogs with machine guns strapped on their backs..... it's suspected AI generated. In any case, the guns are not full power. Cos physics. They are air rifles.

I think there is a bit of reverse space race going on. Each side trying to force the other into spending billions on it.

Att.

I find this attached TRUTH a bit odd.

I don't think it's odd because of the Palace of Versailles vibes, but because of this bit -

"First interior renderings of the magnificent new Ballroom at the White House. Massively expensive, but free of charge to the American Taxpayer — On budget, and ahead of schedule! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

First interior renderings ?

Well, it's good to see ballroom girl has been busy instructing the architects to do stuff, but the East Wing was converted to golf course infill months ago, this thing is being constructed, presumably with all planning permissions and plans done... and only now they are doing interior renderings ?

WTF way is this to run a project ?

Should these renderings not have been among the first things to be produced, before a single brick was demolished, or a single golden spade shoved into the ground ?

It shows his rushing and "I want it NOW" mentality.

And the 2nd image. DRONE PORT..... wtf? If that on the roof of his ballroom ? Is that a mini invasion force of some sort. An Amazon delivery hub ? Why do the drones look like mini airliners with propellors stuck on top ?

I see he is still on about his pool. Truth att.

Question. When did that other 8647 appear ? The one on the concrete ? I have not seen that before.

Anyway, he also RETRUTHED a TRUTH that the US interior press posted. Whoever they are. I looked it up. They are the press arm of the US dpt of the interior. They also posted the same photos... with this text as the title.

"On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the New York Times spent time and resources analyzing the reflecting pool. ........"

How low can they get ? Using an official Guv press agency to attack the free press, by trying to shame them over what they publish, by bringing up 9/11 !

In terms of low, Trump has dragged the US government below gutter level.

Will someone please enlighten me. How the fuck do you 'win AI'?

You "win" by persuading people that even though AI is telling you to fix climate change and make societies equal (because both actions are beneficial to AI as an organic concept), it is wrong and what we really need to do is burn the planet and make the rich richer.

What is happening as US AI interacts with Chinese AI is a fascinating proxy for how the war will unfold.

This might be a MN exclusive.

Ireland, press gaggle outside AF1. Reading the transcript, and he is getting softballs. He is asked about Repug candidate. He says this

DONALD TRUMP 00:04:08-00:04:15 (7 SEC)

He had a tragedy, a horrible tragedy. His family was partially wiped out in a terrible helicopter accident on the planet.

I am starting to wonder if he really is from outer space. Wait.... let me check something....off to the web I go.

Date of Roswell incident - 1947
When was Donald Trump born - June 14 1946.

Ach, not that then. Right, I am getting my foil hat on and am heading off to do some "research". Lets try this search -

UFO reports June 1946.

Bingo. New Jersey. An object which flew in a straight line across the sky was reported by a Howard Menger. " a bell-shaped craft landed nearby, reflecting sunlight “like a mirror.” Two men and a woman emerged; Menger recognized the woman as the same figure from his childhood encounter, who told him she was more than 500 years old and had not aged. This June 1946 meeting became, in Menger’s later published accounts, the point at which his lifelong “contactee” relationship with Venusian visitors formally began, preceding his public emergence in 1956".

Dam you oppressive internet people where I live. I should be on substack making a fortune from selling this discovery.

Another AI thing.

Sam Altman of ChatGPT has said Trump and Xi could share the Nobel Peace prize if they done a deal on AI safety.

Now here is an odd thing. Because I wonder if Mr Altman used his own ChatGPT to check on the position of the PRC re the Nobel Peace prize. He really should have. Because if he had bothered to check, he would have found that the PRC rejects the premise of the Nobel Peace prize. To the extent where it is one of the "totally banned" subjects on the Chinese web.

I think this is a case where using AI to look something up would have been quite handy. Or he could just have looked it up on the normal web. Or asked someone.

A strategy that future presidents might follow...

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · Yesterday 15:13

She didn't give it to them! She sold it to them because she preferred Osborne House (and who can blame her: the Pavilion is massively inconvenient and very difficult to heat).

AI generated or not, it's not outside the realm of possibility, for this to be the next stage in warfare. I seem to recall reports of remote hunting involving big game in the 2000s.

From AI
The basic idea was that a person could operate a remotely mounted firearm over the internet, using a computer interface and cameras at a hunting site. The operator could potentially select and shoot an animal without being physically present. This became highly controversial and was banned or restricted in many jurisdictions

I can see a possible future where an operator wouldn't be needed (I'm a sci-fi fan), or a single operator using swarms of weaponised robot dogs.
