I'm in the hard No thanks camp.

Ferments. DH makes huge jars of kimchi and sauerkraut - he eats lots every day at lunch with sardines. Stinks out the front room. I know it is super good for most people but the smell revolts everyone else in the house. I open all the windows if visitors are expected. The smell of it in the kitchen was truly horrible in the heat this summer. I'm histamine intolerant and my brain screams out in revulsion at a whiff of it.

would quite happily live on sandwiches & crisps, Dh doesn’t agree unfortunately & would eat all of the above the only thing he really dislikes are olives/patè/seafood.

Mushrooms, tomatoes, fish, cilantro, apple pie, blue cheese - one person hates all of them.

Peanut butter- there is no amount of money you could pay me to eat it, unfortunately I live in a house of lovers. I have to sit at the opposite end of the table to anyone eating it.

I used have a nip of sarsons white vinegar when I was a kid..straight from the bottle.

Split household here. DH and DD1 love them, I hate them and DD2 is not bothered about them but veers on the side of no.

Salmon. I hate it so much I bought special pans and make my husband cook it outside. The smell makes me gag uncontrollably.

thai curry. I love it. The rest of my family hates it more than they hate most of my food.

My husband loves advocado, olives and mushy peas and I hate them. I’m right.

Olives - offspring devour them, I think they are satan's testicles. DH is neutral on the subject.

Risotto- three out of 4 love it, DS can't physically be in the same room as it because he can't stand the texture

Sweetcorn - three out of four again but I am the dissenter on this one

Oh and herrings. He comes from N Ireland where they were common in working class families as they were very cheap. Can’t bear them. Them and cockles etc.

Beetroot. DH and DS2 love it. DS1 and I can’t stand it. It’s the earthy taste, I imagine soil to taste like that.
