I will start it off.....

Favourite flower? 🌹🌸🌻🌷

I'm probably not the right person to answer this one; so hopefully a 'candle lover' will answer you too! I'm not overly keen on candles or their scent but I do own a Yankee glass jar candle called 'Snow Kissed Pine'. It was a present.

If you have a Christmas tree, when do you put it up?

The trees are up by mid-November. 1 November for the first one in a perfect world. ("Trees" as in multiple 😂).

Favourite Perfume?

A random perfume in the day - 'Chance' by night. I can't see that ever changing.

Does anyone tell you that you look similar to anyone famous?

No but I have been told I sound exactly like Carla Connor from Coronation St. I don’t watch it but had to check - I don’t think it was meant as a compliment.

What would you say your fashion style is?

Someone at work last week referred to my dress sense as 'ultra-feminine'.... Not sure about the 'ultra' 😂 but yes, I do like girlie things!

I very rarely watch TV, so I didn't even know who Stephen Mulhern is!

All 3 seem pretty unappealing, but Andi Peters seems like the best of a bad bunch. He looks really old which makes me feel old because I remember him from his broom cupboard days!

Favourite TV show when you were a child?

Same! but I think Andi Peters has aged really well! 🤷

Crikey! So many that I watched back then! There was little to do where I grew up.

I will say 'Neighbours' as I ALWAYS watched that after I'd done my school homework!

Did you collect anything as a child?

I collected coins, both pre-decimal and foreign ones.

What was the stupidest thing you did as a child?

Stuck my head in a turn style at a busy Florida theme park, got stuck, had to have the fire brigade cut me out 😳

Favourite homemade meal you could recommend?

I went for a 'quick' walk before dinner, got distracted picking flowers; about 2 hours later I got back home to find my Parents distraught and they had phoned the Police! I wasn't allowed out on my own again! 😒 (It was semi-rural and summertime....)

If you could time travel, the year you would return to?

Roast Dinner with Yorkshire Puddings! 😋

Furthest you have travelled?

I think Bali is the furthest I’ve travelled.

on hearing the sad news of her death, what is your favourite Dolly Parton song?

I'm gutted to hear about Dolly's death. Queen Dolly was the patron saint of our bookclub. I'm going to make a donation to her Imagination Library in her honour.

I love 9 to 5, the beat always gets me going, butterflies. I love Jolene but would like to write my own feminist version.

What song makes you want to dance and gives you energy when you hear it?

Sad to think that Dolly and Whitney are no longer here.

On a lighter note, what is the next 'big' thing you are looking forward to?

I only learnt about Dolly passing from reading it here first.

'Walking On Sunshine' by Katrina and The Waves immediately came to my mind. There are a few from my younger years though. I will likely think of a better one later!

If you could change your first name, what would you change it to?

We’re self building our new home and I can’t wait for it to be finished.

What have you eaten for dinner?

I had a ham and beetroot cob with a pack of cheese and onion crisps and a wispa bar and of course a cup of tea.

What did you have for tea? (Just thought, by dinner you may have meant tea) in that case I had lasagne with cheese and tomato flatbread.

Either! I'm away in the south of England (I rarely venture South 😬) so tonight I have eaten a hot chicken skewer with salad, a flatbread and skin-on chips.

Favourite US comedy?

I don’t watch many US comedy series but when I was a kid I definitely used to watch The Golden Girls

Wide leg or skinny - jeans/trousers?

Wide leg, I'm too fat for skinny jeans!

(I had a Korean take away for dinner, kimchi fried rice with a fried egg, pork dumplings, miso soup, beansprouts and spinach)

Do you have any health conditions?

Obstetric anti phospholipid syndrome (try saying that after a few wines)
