I can't see how this can possibly be true. If the threat was 'credible', as is being stated, then why would they put the lives of so many people at risk by allowing it to continue on its journey?

If the threat was 'credible', as is being stated, then why would they put the lives of so many people at risk by allowing it to continue on its journey?

Simple answer. Because they don't give the smallest fuck about human life, other than theirs, and a lot of them would probably be quite happy to see some journos dead.

@LittleBowSheep

Also I can't see any pilot willing to fly a plane knowing that there is a credible risk to all those on board. Which then raises the question of whether they were even told?

Air Force One pilots are special military (air force), and I suspect they are incredibly highly train to follow the chain of command rigidly and, sadly, probably unquestioningly. I wouldn't be shocked, however, if they weren't told precisely to avoid those pesky illegal orders problems.

@Laughingravy Welcome! And agreed, excellent first post.

Because Scrotus doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself. No different than others who have used 'human shields' in the past to guard themselves.

Scrotus hates the media, at least most of it. And he wouldn't shed one sincere tear I am wondering if there were any Fox/OAN and that ilk reporters on that plane or if they 'found reasons' were tipped off not to board the plane.

Apparently Rubio & Bessette (sp?) were the sacrificial lambs on the 'decoy' plane and aware that Scrotus was flying on the smaller one. Kegsbreath & some other of the 'inner circle' were also on the smaller plane so I guess they're better arselickers 'more in favour'.

Yes, that's why nothing they could do would surprise me. It must be a kick in the teeth for those who discovered they were on the 'you can die' list.

Trump Media Loses $238 Million on Only $1.7 Million in Revenue.

That is in one quarter. What is the scam here ? Is Trump doing a GoodFellas thing here. You know the bit in the film where they get a night club and run it into the ground while taking on loans and debt.

Trump Media Loses $238 Million on Only $1.7 Million in Revenue (thewrap.com)

I am useless at this financial stuff, but I went for a wee hunt anyway. Because I remember UK companies house do the thing where directors pay is reported. I could not find that, but here is what I got.

Here is the published Trump Media & Technology Group Reports Second Quarter 2026 Results:

PDF

That has this in it. "completing its prospective merger with TAE Technologies, Inc. ("TAE") in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory and closing conditions"

This TAE company is - wait for it.. wait... A California FUSION start up. Yup, that old favourite vapourware thing.

Trump Media to merge with fusion startup TAE Technologies in $6B deal -- ANS / Nuclear Newswire

Note, I am not against the idea of Fusion. I can grasp the idea of it. But I know enough about physics to know it is not the holy grail of energy. It is decades away, and that is with Government level labs.

Energy output from nuclear fusion reaction exceeds input (acs.org)

And from that merger notice above, note that it claims a $6 BILLION deal, but the small print in it says "

"As part of the transaction, TMTG has agreed to provide up to $200 million of cash to TAE at signing, and an additional $100 million is available upon initial filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission."

Now note the link I put in about the first Fusion where output exceeds input. That is from Dec 2022, at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

But this TAE startup claims:

"The combined companies plan to site and begin construction on a 50-MWe utility-scale fusion power plant in 2026, subject to regulatory approval."

Trump fusion. Put $300 mil in, get $6 billion out. Easy when you are POTUS and control a countries purse.

Here is the Trump Media group SEC filings.

SEC Filings - Trump Media | IR (tmtgcorp.com)

Devin Nunes by the way left in April this year. 4 months after the TAE deal was announced. He was supposed to be the CEO of the new company. That stinks to me of the usual Trump thing. When his scams get too much for even the scammiest cow owning ex Repug reps.... get rid and replace with an underling who will do the bidding.

Ohh, and from the Trump media quarter report:

"On August 1, 2026, the Company launched its first data licensing product-Truth API, a business-to-business data feed subscription that provides licensed, low latency access to publicly-available posts from certain top Truth Social accounts and is expected to provide the Company with a new revenue stream. Truth API closes the latency gap for organizations that place a premium on prompt, verified access to public information found on Truth Social. TMTG onboarded a number of institutional customers prior to its August 1, 2026, launch and, despite receiving what it believes to be factually inaccurate criticism of Truth API, is continuing to onboard additional partners."

Yeah. Insider trading. Lets sell that to people as a surefire way to make a buck.

Trump Media Loses $238 Million on Only $1.7 Million in Revenue

Trump Media, the parent company of Truth Social and Truth+, reported a $238.1 million second-quarter loss on $1.7 million in revenue.

This is shocking. Shocking I say.

ICE plans to spend up to $20 million on electrical shock gloves for agents | CNN

Electric shock gloves.

Can't wait to see the stories about ICE agents being hospitalized after they try them out for.... ahem... stabbing the chicken... or bashing the Bishop.

My first thought was a Trump will be involved. So I had a look, and no joy. It's only $20 million. And internet limitations do come into play for me. But CNN did link the Guv Acquisition form in the article so people can do their own " research", which I think is really nice of them.

Lets be honest, the press must be struggling with staff to investigate all the Trump family scams. Here is the guv document.

Forecast Record | Acquisition Planning Forecast System (dhs.gov)

Note the business type code for the supplier:

"NAICS: 711219 - Other Spectator Sports". And looking that code up, I get this :

"This U.S. industry comprises (1) independent athletes, such as professional or semiprofessional golfers, boxers, and race car drivers, primarily engaged in participating in live sporting or racing events before a paying audience; (2) owners of racing participants, such as cars, dogs, and horses, primarily engaged in entering them in racing events or other spectator events; and (3) establishments, such as sports trainers, primarily engaged in providing specialized services required to support participants in sports events or competitions."

Golfer suppliers supplying electric shock gloves to ICE ?

The company is called "COMPLIANT TECHNOLOGIES LLC", and just one officer named. The internet blocks get in my way now. but the registered address for the company is a very nice $1m mansion in Kentucky. I found it on an estate agent site.

The owner of Compliant Technologies is Jeffrey Alan Niklaus. Not a child of Jack. I checked.

But there is another company registered to Jeffrey Alan Niklaus, exact same address, that nice mansion (NOT a factory), and that is for a company called the "FAR EAST-WEST TRADING COMPANY, LLC".

FAR EAST-WEST TRADING COMPANY, LLC | Kentucky Company Directory

And look here, Here is a Beijing company who make and sell " Electric shock arrest gloves".

Advanced Arrest Electric Shock Gloves China Manufacturer for Military - MadeInChina.com

And the description is EXACTLY THE SAME as in the CNN article.

I done that "investigation" in the time it took me to drink a coffee. And I done it on one of the most limited internets in the world. And the US Government acquisitions folk are just handing over $10-20 mill just like that. And I done my "research" real time. In that I was doing it as I typed this post. I did not have a conclusion at the start.

If they want "electric shock arrest gloves", they should have just said. Be cheaper direct from the factory.

Edit to add - It really is shocking how easy it is to spot their "scams and favours".

ICE plans to spend up to $20 million on electrical shock gloves for agents | CNN

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and officers may soon be equipped with gloves that deliver electrical shocks, which the manufacturer says are intended to de-escalate encounters with individuals.

RedTagAlan · 13/08/2026 05:45

A wee add to my post above. These " low voltage compliance gloves".

A bit more on the web and MAGA.... Trump will be pleased to know his ICE officers are being equipped by a Chinese Communist STATE OWNED company.

MAGA.

Unfortunately what I won't be able to find is any US Sanctions that apply. But that is easy for Trump to sort. No wait... wait wait wait.. I can :

KKK barbie is the first rat to leave the sinking Trump ship, using that old excuse, 'spend time with my family'.

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, will leave her role at the end of this month to spend more time with her family, including her two young children, Donald Trump announced today.
The president said on social media that it was a “decision I totally understand and respect”, while adding that Leavitt would become one of his “top outside advisors” when she leaves the administration.
Leavitt was 27 when she assumed the role of press secretary at the beginning of Trump’s second term. She is the youngest person in US history to hold the role. She was previously a press aide during the first Trump administration, before launching an unsuccessful bid for a US House seat in New Hampshire, her home state.
“Karoline has been a real leader in the White House, and has done a phenomenal job fighting for Justice, Liberty, and Freedom, since 2018,”Trump wrote on Truth Social.

@RedTagAlan Are you sure you're not an intelligence operative? Excellent detective work.

Ha ha ha... NO. But if my web minder sees your post...

Anyway, joking aside, I am just interested in de-bunking stuff. Debunking conspiracies, not making them.

This is the guy that owns the Glove company:

"Jeff Niklaus
Former Special Operations Officer; Founder & CEO, Compliant Technologies; retired Chief Warrant Officer Four
Jeff Niklaus, founder of Compliant Technologies, comes from a long military heritage. He joined the Army in 1985, qualified in the UH-60 Blackhawk, and during his 20-year active duty career deployed in support of Operation Gothic Serpent in Somalia, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
He retired in 2006 as a Chief Warrant Officer Four and went on to work as a contractor to the US Department of State in support of the Poppy Eradication Program in Afghanistan. He currently flies EMS helicopters in Kentucky and holds degrees in Forestry, Business Management, and Aeronautics."

And that explains why his company address is a house, not a factory. What is this guy going to know about designing, making, testing, and ensuring compliance of high tech gloves. Engineering and manufacturing is my trade, and you don't learn it from flying helicopters and working as a US "contractor". So alarm bells went off.

Jeff Niklaus — Sarah Westall

And the PRC side, I know a bit about how that works. Lots of different suppliers for the gloves, but the actual items are the same. So who made them ? And spotting state owned companies is really easy.

Christian Nationalism. She has had her "freedom of youth". Now she has to hunker down and do the traditional wife stuff.

That's my take.

Young family aside, I'd thought Leavitt was the most committed of all the various Press Secretaries that have debased themselves for Trump. She genuinely seems to delight in lying. She's also ruder to the Press than he is, and that takes some doing

She reminds me of Kelly-Anne Conway, who, you will remember, lost her marriage and her daughter (at least for a while) because of Trump. Mind you, it could just be the sharp face and long blonde hair which are similar.

Actually I guess that's always been the case, there's just much more opportunity now.

I saw the story and instantly thought something is wrong with this. It has "vaporware" smeared all over it.

Esp the bit in the article where it says a button is pressed to energize the gloves to shock someone into submission. Because how does one press a button when the gloves are the instrument, while grappling with someone ? And it only works on bare flesh. So what good is that to an LEO ? Compared to a cattle prod for example.

It's a nonsense idea.

So yes. It's just all kickbacks I reckon. Drain the swamp my arse.
