still enjoying the weather? still having bbqs?

i just wondered if the enthusiasm has died in in most people
or are people still having bbqs in their back gardens

We have moorland fires near us. Hopefully the rain today has helped.

still hot in the south east, no let up at all,
slightly grey this morning and 1 minute of rain, then hot again.

As a turf farmer, I am 💯 wishing for the same!

I'm not that far from the Cairngorm wildfire but we've still had shit weather. Only takes one
idiot with a fag end or BBQ.

I have never enjoyed the heat. I l spring autumn and winter. Of course I like the light nights but not the heat. My hair looks greasy, I look bloated, I have no energy, I dont want to eat, I cant sleep, I get headaches!!

Im in Vall and it reached 35° today which is about 18 ° over my comfort level!

Where are all these people with rain???

Ds2 rang to see how I am.and he said it was filthy outside and none of the dogs wanted to go out. He opened the back door and all three trotted out and did a u turn and went back in! He said it had gone cool but it changes again mid week.

Derbyshire - technically East Midlands. It's been cooler all last week. We had a tiny amount of rain on Thursday, early morning. It started raining around 4pm yesterday when I was in Manchester and has rained on and off since then here.

Thank you. Nowhere near as bad as those in France and Spain, but it's peat so it just burns and burns. Thankfully the change in the weather and temperatures meant the smoke has dissipated. You could smell it everywhere a week ago, miles away and see the haze.
