Are you awake and/or up?

I’m awake AND up. I’m just sitting downstairs having my coffee before I head off to work in 40mins. I woke up at 2.42 and couldn’t get back to sleep. My alarm wasn’t due to go off until 4.15 ffs.

I'm always up by 4:30. I love the cool quiet of the morning.

No alarm set this morning. Was really looking forward to a lie in. Of course I'm awake and can't settle again 🙈

See, I think it’s criminal to be up this early on a Saturday 🤣 definitely having a lie in tomorrow!

Been awake since 3. Never sleep through now but at least I’m retired.

Alas, I am indeed! I’d much rather still have my head on a pillow, but it wasn’t meant to be, wide awake even beating the birds. Coffee and a doomscroll it is then.

Wanted a long lie this morning but no matter what seem to wake up between 4-5 every morning. Now doom scrolling listening to the wind.

Im up because I'm going through a terrible sleep patch atm. Involves me going to bed at 10pm and waking up at 2/3/4 with my mind racing 😭

I’ll be fine, thank you ☺️ it’s only until 11 and then I still have the rest of the day! The bonus of working a Saturday morning is that DH now has to handle taking DS to swimming, bringing in the food shopping delivery and making sure DS gets ready for his friends birthday party at 12. I should be walking through the front door just as they’re about to leave 😁

Me! I've been awake since 3 am. I'm in a pattern of waking 3/4am and can't get back to sleep. It's horrible.

Morning! Yes, no matter what time I go to bed I wake between 4.30 and 5.30. Going to get some coffee and cuddle the dog.

I’m also waking at 3/4 and that’s it for the night. Must be an age thing. Enjoying listening to the wind, though.

I’m sorry to hear some of you are up and you don’t want to be! It’s so rubbish when you can’t sleep when you desperately want to.

Its annoying because I have zero trouble falling asleep at the start of the night.
I find Nytol and Night Nurse really helpful but the issue is 3am is too late in the night to be taking them if you want to be up at 7 or 8!

I'm awake feeding my 8wk old baby boy 🥹💙 luckily he is now drifting back off, so hoping I can aswell soon.

Tragically I have been up for about an hour. Leaving for work at 6.45, will be home around 2

I woke up at 5.15 am.... bladder and cat staging a jail break. Cat tax paid just waiting for the photo to be approved 😃

I have a pregnant cat that is a stray and I'm worried that she will have them somewhere ridiculous. I've recently had surgery so won't be able to do much about it.

She's still in one piece and just eaten her own bodyweight in food so I've made myself a cup of coffee.

I've tried to pen her but she gets so stressed I can't do it to her.

Trying to switch off ,dealing with DWP for DW who is disabled and just can't do her manual job now.
It's all she's ever done for 42years as she has serious literacy issues no digital skills.
Her health has deteriorated so much she can't carry on.

I have some horrible throat infection thing and couldn’t stop coughing. Woke up at 3 and decided at 5 that I’d laid in bed long enough. I am planning on a siesta later!

I wake up at dawn, all summer. I'm lying here with the windows open, listening to birdsong. About to make some coffee.

Ive had broken sleep all night as ddog is poorly, DP has been up with her during the night a few times, I got up at 4am to take over.
Im up on a weekday at 5am for work but I'm feeling it this morning due to broken sleep.
Gonna jump in the shower so I can ring the vets at 8, hopefully they can get her in, if not it's the emergency vets £££.
Im rambling because I'm tired

I'm awake too. I'm currently on holiday and tend to wake up early to watch the sunrise on the beach. 🌅 Love this place!

I was wide awake at 5am. It must be lovely to be able to sleep until 7/8am every morning
