Why is Nigel Farage….

….dressing like Alan Partridge for the by-election? Just like Alan Partridge, ready for a trip down the Norfolk Broads.
Or does he dress like that all the time? Surely not?

I paused briefly over one video and since then my algorithm seems to be set firmly to Farage, and his fashion choices are just fascinating. I know I could change the algorithm back fairly easily but I now can’t look away.

Here is this morning’s ensemble. The double breasted blazer with brass buttons seems to be a staple, but the garish trousers in a kind of ham pink, and the purple tie seem to be taking the whole thing in a bolder direction than usual.

Why is Nigel Farage….

I like your thread title. It's a complete sentence, really.

Yep - “Why is Nigel Farage?” just stands on its own

Couldn't care less what they (any politicians) wear. It's what they do or don't do we should worry about.

He's got a holiday camp entertainment manager vibe about him. Like he's going to start calling the bingo "Eyes down laydeez and gents its number 10...Andy's den"

Or Mark from the Hotel
Early reality TV show.

Nigel's performance/attendance record is even worse than his sartorial choices. Something that hardly seems possible.

His clothing is somewhat amusing. ‘What he’s done’ - leading the Brexit campaign which has damaged the U.K., and also the EU isn’t remotely funny.

NF is younger than me and presents himself in cosplay as an imagined retired Lt Col down the golf club sipping a pink gin, despite never serving anything other than his own interests.

My late FIL was a retired Lt Col (of the wartime generation) and despite his fondness for pink gin, did not dress, look or behave like Farage, or espouse his obnoxious views, despite being old enough to be his grandfather.

Vote Binface.

I’m of the opinion that the poor people of Clacton - and especially Jaywick - need more that a bloke with a bin on his hea.

Labour should have sent their very best candidate to run buses, build social housing and put up FE colleges.

A man with a bin suggests these good people are rubbish. They might have voted Farage thinking a big name would help them but they shouldn’t be punished for it.

I’m so sick of this gobshite. He’s permanently offended by everything. He really does think he’s special snowflake.

He's like that vile kid at school (which by all accounts, he was) who bullies other kids then goes running to the teacher in tears lying that someone has hit him when they say something he doesn't like.
