From the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 England did brilliantly and had to play against a team of cheaty wankers. I hope Spain take Argentina to the cleaners in the final. Do Argentina’s yellow cards carry forward? Hope so.

Pah! Well I only ever watch football when it’s a big tournament, but that was so disappointing. Argentina were rough, cheaty bastards, deliberately fouling all the time. Absolutely infuriating. To be fair they have the necessary skill to win, so why?
Are they proud to win like that? Are their fans proud?

Mone the Spaniards noo..keep the Argies grubby mitts off the trophy.

I have an idea that if the score is even at full time, the game is awarded to the team with least fouls.

Poor DS2 was devastated.😢

He shouted about how it was fixed (10 mins in). Complained about FIFA corruption then threw himself down on the sofa crying at the final whistle. Then I put him to bed with soothing noises and tales of cunning revenge.🙈

I agree that Argentina, the ref, FIFA and Infantino are a disgrace. I don't know how the home nations FAs move forward with the World Cup now after both Qatar (which we boycotted as a household) and then this.

The First Night of the Proms BBC choral singers and BBC Philharmonic just sang and played Wonderwall as a tribute to the team. It was unexpected but honestly very cheering!
