Why are there no weather warnings this week?

The weather and temperatures here in London are pretty much exactly the same as two weeks ago, when we had several days of amber and three days of red warnings. This prompted 3 half days at the school I work at, making it just about bearable. Not even a yelllow warning this week - why is that? Public transport, classrooms etc are just as hideous as two weeks ago!

And it's summer here too. That doesn't mean it isn't hotter than usual, or that the heat won't have impacts on people, or that people in other countries don't struggle to deal with the heat too. What a pointless thing to say.

Consistency would be good.

Us too. Head won’t close cos no heat warning. Ridiculous. Classrooms just as hot if not worse because they didn’t get a chance to cool since last heatwave.

Pretty sure temps were hovering around 37/38 last week

37.7 in Lingwood. Was a record this year.
