What random things do people think are niche about you?

I still have two milk teeth at the age of 47

A lot of things if I told them about it. But maybe not. Maybe I think I'm a lot more unique and special and I'm just incredibly boring!

I am fluent in marathi - my ex husband taught me when we were dating. It was mega romantic 🥰

I am generally a jolly person and happy to chat to people - some people think this is weird!

I'm the only one in my family who can't play the musical spoons.

I had twins at 44! Am 59 now and people presume my children should be a lot older or even be a granny…

That is very unusual! I wonder how rare that is!

Same! It freaks some people out doesn't it!

I don't have aTV in my living room.
I don't put up a Christmas tree or decorations.
I've lived in the same house for 30+ years, even though I could have easily "upgraded".
I've never taken a selfie.
And, yes, I'm another who has never had takeaway food delivered.

That isn't niche.

Liking opera, like to the point of paying to see it

Reading history - statistically this can’t be niche but if people make the mistake of asking ‘is that a good book’ the follow up to what I tell them is usually dead silence

Not a selfie taker either! I find it quite shocking when people do this sometimes.

Never had a takeaway delivered either.

I only know 3 others without any. Admittedly some I know only have 1.

I only know a couple of people with them. It isn't niche or not niche, it just is.

I’d rather be left alone. I have no desire to stay at other people’s houses. I’m happy at home doing what I want to do.

I listen to old radio shows from ~20 years ago, over and over again.

Most of these are not niche… just boring/old fashioned/clearly from people whose jobs don’t require the same level of output that most do now… writing on paper for work is totally inefficient ime. I only do it when I need a client to see me as arty 😂

people do the almost pitying look when I say I’ve not been abroad for 25 years.

I’ve absolutely no desire to sit on a baking hot beach or around a pool in 40 degree heat for 10 days.

I went abroad a lot with my parents until I was 17 . Done my travelling, I’m more interested in uk holidays these days

I go abroad by train.
I take holidays in the autumn.
I walked four miles to work - and home again (self-employed now).
I spend Christmas alone.

This is 👌🏼 December is such a busy month so why not!
