Will benefit claimants get reduced price tickets to see the Bayeux Tapestry ?

Please don't all come to Reading! Our museum is one of DS2s favourite days out and one of the reasons he loves it (ND and MH issues) is that it's always so quiet and empty there. Grin

But if you do come, the Forbury Gardens and Abbey Ruins are great for a picnic. And MERL is fab too.

There is a Greek archaeology Museum near MERL as well.

They just mentioned something about a colony of old English (?)being set up in Crimea (before they all got offed by the Tartars). They've also got a bemused french writer who keeps mentioning how little the french bother with William he's like THAT insignificant to them and keeps mentioning Asterix. All very "we don't think about you At All" vibes

Come to Reading. There's an excellent copy in the Town Museum (3 minutes from the bus and train stations) and it's FREE!

Yes, used to work in the Uni and amazed they don't advertise their copy more.
