In light of the current high temperatures, I'm coming around with my ice cream van.
What are you having?

I agree but I’m not sure Ice Ice Baby would adapt to dingly bells 😆

Calippo. Prefer lollies to ice creams. Don't like cones.

Open to any other suggestions, what tune does your local van play MNs?

A whippy ice cream (the dense stuff not the really airy stuff) in a tub with nuts and chocolate sauce 😋

99 with a flake, raspberry sauce and sherbet in a pot no cone. BUT I cant have diary so it's a huge risk to eat it 😫

Oyster with red sauce! But they never seem to have oysters anymore which makes me so sad!!

Agree, I had one recently & threw it away after the first bite, horrible. However gave the Aldi version a go & they’re lovely, how I remember the originals!

Lemon Ice with a whippy top, raspberry sauce, sprinkles & a flake!

99 with juice and a flake.

Cider lolly.

Tub or waffle cone, 99 with flake and rolled in chopped nuts

Double chocolate wafer with vanilla icecream
or
an Oyster with chocolate sauce and chopped nuts.

I would follow your ice cream van wherever to get my hands on the ice lolly that had jelly in the middle I think it was called a wibbly wobbly

In my earlier days it was a toss up between that and a Calippo Shots. They were delicious.

I'd have a Dracula ice lolly - black ice lolly with red jelly inside.

@FridgeJenga our local van plays Teddy Bears Picnic and it creeps me out.
I would like a vanilla tub with chocolate sauce and nuts please.

If it's circa 1999 I'd like a Solero Ice lolly please (frozen whizzed up real strawberry in a lemonade shell), or the old Twisters that were bright lime green and actually had flavour. Otherwise a cider lolly or pineapple split please.

A 99 dipped in sherbert with raspberry sauce. Or an Uncle Mac 20p special (Ice cream in a cone with an ice lolly stuck in the top).

One of the local vans played the Match of the Day theme tune, quite jolly!

I think ice cream van jingles are a bit like clowns in that they can feel sinister. A way to lure children away from safety. Or am I overthinking this? 🤡
