If you’re currently under the red or amber warning for extreme heat, what are you wearing?

I have just got in from work, had a cool shower and just put on a pair PJ shorts and top.
So stylish right? 😂

I've been wearing five point ppe all week and can't wait to get back from the gym and into a cold shower.

It's not the long sleeves that are the worst. It's 100% the hardhat. We have to wear ones with a chinstrap as we're up and down ladders all day - needs to stay on your head if you fall. It's got a thick foam band that presses on the forehead and stops heat escaping. It feels warmer than a beanie when outside in the heat. And the earmuffs are hot asf too.

On the plus side, however, I'm more than comfortable with just a fan when I get home as I think I've acclimatised to being hot. Which is weird because I usually don't feel the cold. I won't put on a proper jacket at work until it's well into single digits.

It was…unpleasant! Just home now. Sweating like no-one’s business and sat in underwear only in the (not overlooked!) garden praying for a beeeze.

i love my job and made sure everyone was aware that I was feeling the heat a little more than them and to bear with me and they did. But boy am I glad to have finished!

2 more days to go til a day of!

Bugger all. I am in bed with the fan on. However today I wore running shorts and a vest top to work as Fridays are dress down days.

Sadly, I think this may now be how every summer is. At least we'll get used to it in time.

A long cotton kaftan without my bra. Feels lovely and wafty. We are without a bathroom currently, so flannel washes at kitchen sink - quite the refreshing experience!

I'm on holiday now so it's mostly swimwear and a wrap or sarong!
Having breakfast in a bikini top and a pair of loose shorts right now.

When at home, a bikini top and my thinnest loosest linen shorts. The rest of the time only cotton or linen blend stuff, as short and wafty and loose as reasonable.
