Will baby be a red head or too early to tell?

Hi, baby is 3 weeks old and looks a very light ginger 😍 white eyebrows and what looks like blonde/warm lashes. Anyone’s child born this colour and it’s stayed or changed completely? Curious 😁

I think that’s a lovely shade of hair, I wouldn’t call it ginger although there is a tinge in the blonde. I don’t think you can say because these things do change massively. I hope you come back and update us in 20 years 🤣

I was white blonde and now darkest brown. DD was normal blonde and now brown with a red tinge. My eyes were brown for years and now bright green, getting brighter by the day and I’m touching 40.

I was very ginger when I was born. But have been 'baby blonde' since I was about 3yo.

My sister and both my DSs stayed ginger.

Mine had newborn hair like this, he’s a teen now and has the most bright orange hair I’ve ever seen, and I say that as a red head.

Congratulations! Beautiful baby!

Personally I love this hair colour.

One of my first jobs was working with children so I can say that while it does look strawberry blonde at the moment, it may change colour quite soon.

As a lifelong redhead (more titian) and having suffered the brickbats throughout life, I prayed that my children wouldn’t have it. I was pretty sure not - you can work out the likelihood through Mendel’s theory.
