What non alcoholic drinks do you enjoy at home?

Just wanting some drinks to keep in the house. I’m trying to lose some weight and I’m finding cups of tea are helping to keep me out of the biscuit tin but they’re getting a bit boring.

What do you like to drink at home?

Herbal teas, non alcoholic beers, ginger beer, appeltiser, cordials or just a some apple juice diluted with cold water - bliss on a hot day.

ScottBakula · 16/06/2026 14:35

https://en.waterdrop.com/ I use them quite a lot, especially when at work. The little cubes only weigh a few grams each so I can carry around lots of different flavors to drink throughout the day.
They only lightly flavor the water so they are not cloying or over sweet.
Their bottles are really good quality too.

I also drink Inches and Guinness 0%

Diet coke. I love my diet coke. My husband drinks tea, coffee and fruit squash but i drink diet coke.

OneWarmGreySloth · 16/06/2026 15:07

Orange diluting juice
pepsi max
ice coffee
soda water and lime

Tonissister · 16/06/2026 15:25

San Pellegrino Zeros: peach and clementine or blood orange - they are very low cal and not very sweet but really good flavours.

Diet coke and Vimto zero. I know sweeteners aren't that good for you, but I like the taste of these two. You can buy Vimto sugar free concentrate and just add still or sparkling to it.

Infused water is lovely too. Pour still or sparkling water into a jug with a lot of fresh mint and strawberries or fresh chillies and sliced lemons if you fancy a savoury drink. Leave for an hour then pour over ice.

You could make some iced teas and coffees in hot weather. Iced fruit teas might be nice. Cold fresh coffee over ice with cold milk in it. No need for sugar.

I love traditional lime cordial with sparkling water. or elderflower cordial.

PenelopeAsks · 16/06/2026 15:48

It might sound dull, but I only drink cucumber water or mint tea.

I do drink alcohol too- but obviously not all the time.

Fizzy water with ice and a couple of wedges of red grapefruit.
Nice cordials with fizzy water.
Innocent fruit juices - especially the blue one, though I don’t have fruit juice very often.
Full fat milk.
Herbal tea.

Elderflower cordial in sparkling water, also ginger beer (the hotter the better). I quite like those Tripp cans as they are very relaxing, which possibly a placebo effect!

wanderingtopographer · 16/06/2026 15:53

Oh, and peppermint tea. My friend bought me some hibiscus tea a few months ago and I've been enjoying that with a little lemon and honey.

Alcohol free gin and slimline tonic. About 7 calories a glass. ‘Free & T’

TRIPP cans are lovely as a treat

Topsy44 · 16/06/2026 16:59

I’ve just found a very refreshing apple and mango juice from Waitrose which is my drink of choice at the moment.

TheRemainsOfTheDayCream · 16/06/2026 17:19

I've just ordered some Folikngton's elderflower pressé as my non-alcoholic end-of-the-day drink.

DilemmaDelilah · 16/06/2026 17:24

Trying to lose weight, so I go for as low calorie as possible and drink diet bitter lemon mixed half an half with soda water.

DH bought some and they all got guzzled by adult DC before I tried one. Which would you recommend.

Raspberry and orange

Sprite Zero over ice.

slug · 17/06/2026 02:32

i have a SodaStream. Normally I’m a fan of just soda water but lately DH has been bringing home bottles of Ginger juice shots. A slug of that in soda water is now my go to on hot days.

I can’t have artificial sweeteners but I love a cold fizzy drink so the Dash flavoured water in a can has helped me get away from wanting to drink Coke all the time. We get it from Amazon when it’s on a good offer. Says it’s 0 calories but comes in at 3 on my calorie tracker. Still low enough I can enjoy a few totally guilt free.

I also like Corona Cero (especially with a wedge of lime and it’s only 56 calories per bottle) or Guinness 0.0% (75 calories for a 500ml can) if I want a non-alcoholic beer.

CharlesPetrescu · 17/06/2026 08:26

I find coconut water very refreshing. It's healthy too.

SaraCrewe06 · 17/06/2026 08:32

Aqua Libra is lovely and very low in sugar.
Noughty 0% fizzy Chardonnay is the best (but most expensive) Non-alcoholic Prosecco dupe I’ve found.

eatreadsleeprepeat · 17/06/2026 09:09

Increasingly few things as I avoid anything with artificial sweeteners in, would rather drink fewer drinks and then have water.
Roses lime cordial with water or tonic or soda, mint tea, M&S still lemonade. Homemade flavoured water is good in the summer. Cut half cucumber into about four, put it in a fridge door jug, fill with water and chill. Can do the same with lemon or lime.
