Just opened a mini eggs chocolate bar intending to have just one strip and 10 minutes later have eaten the whole fecking thing!! 😬

Honestly I have no bloody willpower sometimes.

This is the whole reason I don't normally buy these bars of chocolate because I cannot be trusted not to be a total greedy twat!!! 😂

I can't have salt and vinegar pringles in the house anymore as I just eat the lot in one sitting. I used to hide the empty cartons in the recycling so DH wouldn't think I was a little piggy. 😂Needless to say he found them and now its a running joke in our house not to let me near them as I can't be trusted.

It depends what time of the month it is. Pre-period - yep! It’s a given. I also go looking for chocolate during the day on these days. Rest of the month, I can stop at just 2 crème eggs. However in the run up to Easter, all bets are off 🐣

I could mainline any chocolate I had in the house. I’m now on Mounjaro and I still enjoy chocolate but can easily limit myself to a few squares. It honestly still blows my mind how it works!

DS had a big bar of chocolate in his room. Said I could have a bit then he went away for the week. Every time I went past his room I went in and had a bit until it was gone so I replaced it. Then did the same again 😬

There's two reasons I haven't done that this eve.

1. I dont have any chocolate in the house
2. Actually that's the only reason. I like to think Id share it with DD, but that's not guaranteed.

I bought the 360g one as soon as they hit the shelves, it is for me. It will be entirely consumed on Easter Sunday. Yes, I have the willpower to not open it until then. I bought the bar rather than the bag of eggs because they wouldn't see Easter. (Wouldn't have seen March).

Once it is open, it will be gone though. No, I won't be sharing. 😅

I do this with giant family share bags of crisps…I tell myself that I’ll just have ‘a few in a bowl’ and then clip the bag shut.

Never heard of them til bloody Asda sent them as a sub for Maryland cookies - and what a sub! They are divine dipped in tea or just shovelled down!

DP and I did this, Christmas 2024. We thought we were clever buying the tubs of Heroes, QS, Roses etc nice and early when they were 2 for £7 or suchlike.

Yeah - so clever we had to replace them twice, just as the price went up! We didn’t get them til days before Christmas this last year. Struggled to get through them, they were not very nice (and all bloody tub and no chocolate😡)
