I did an online Asda shop and some items were missing from my shopping, I put in a refund request online but it was rejected. I’ve never claimed a refund from them before so not sure why it would be rejected. It was a big shop £150 and it was 3 items missing. Has anyone had this before with Asda?

@Takis because it's over £10 refund; their computerised system automatically rejects it.

thanks i called them and they were actually really nice, refunded instantly and gave me a voucher (I didn’t even need to ask for that) so all sorted now, must have just been an automatic decline for whatever reason

It happened to me with my Christmas food shop - missing items, out of date items too. I put in the refund request and it was rejected, emailed them and they didn’t bother to reply to me. I’ve never used them since.

I’ve had this. I messaged them on Facebook and it eventually got sorted. But it was a huge faff. Items worth about £40 were listed as delivered, but they weren’t and I had no way to prove it. I used to just do it online and it would easily get refunded, but then on this occasion it suddenly came back with a reply like yours OP. This is after weeks of issues of missing items, deliveries not turning up etc so I am not renewing my delivery pass this year, will use Tesco instead.
