Help me find my engagement ring

Im absolutely devastated.

I can’t find my engagement ring anywhere. I’ve got my wedding ring (which is a plain white gold band) but cannot find the engagement ring. It wouldn’t be of any value really, white gold 1/4 carat diamond, but I’ve informed local jewellers and those kind of shops that buy and sell second hand jewellery.

I only take it off if I’m making meatballs / cooking with raw meats, or doing my nails but I cannot even remember taking it off so where it has gone is a real mystery.

I’ve got ring holders at all sinks in the house and by my bed and it’s not in any of them. It’s not in any coat pocket, or in my handbag.

Any other ideas of where I should be looking? No matter how silly they sound, I’ll look anywhere.

Oh what a horrible feeling when you've lost something precious. I once lost the stone out of my diamond solitaire ring and felt sick as I had been out in the fields earlier thst day and had no idea when I'd lost it. I found it the next day, it had got caught in a duvet cover when I was changing some bedding. I now have it checked every few years at a jewellers. Will your ring be covered by your contents insurance? Fingers crossed you find it.

Go through everything in your laundry basket and check in the bed.

I once found my ex-husband’s in a bag full of balls for our son’s ball pit after it had been missing for months. It must have come off as he’d been putting the balls away. I’m now remarried and I found my husband’s ring in a bucket next to the sink in the downstairs loo. He must have been washing his hands and knocked it off.

I think I’ve got a real talent for finding rings 😂

This happened to me regarding a bank card. It was a winter boot and I didn't wear them over a hot spring and summer.

Have you worn rubber gloves to do the washing up?

Something to do with a sink.

I found it!!! Inside a pair of my socks that had been through the washer and dryer. It is very shiny now 😂

Brilliant news!

I once lost a gold much loved bracelet , looked everywhere but it was gone .
Come the winter months found out my gloves from the drawer to wear and discover the bracelet in the glove .
The crazy thing was I always wash them before putting away until I need them the following year .

Pray to st Anthony.. he never lets me down! (In reality it’s a placebo but helps me to remember where I last had something logically!)
