Has anyone successfully stopped snoring?

DH snores. It is really bad. He isn’t overweight. Has tried a few things - nose strips, a mouth guard type thing, a visit to the dr. Dentist suggests a £500 plate - but no guarantee it will work… we don’t want to sleep in separate beds (but to be fair to him, he will do that whenever I ask him to, if I have a big day ahead etc)

Anyone know what the silver bullet is?

Frying pan smacked right over the head should work....I say this while lying in bed wide awake listening to the earthquake next to me snoring his brains out and pondering whether to try it. 😆 🤣

Have a look at proper tongue position - apparently your tongue should be touching the roof of your mouth (you can Google how to do it), when it's done properly you can only breathe through your nose which should reduce snoring (barring medical causes). You have to train your tongue during the day so it will hold this position even when you're asleep. Worth a shot for a couple of weeks as it's free.....

I think this is almost certainly the answer. Since I've been wearing Invisilign and then a night time retainer by snoring has stopped and I definitely notice it makes me keep my tongue more to the roof of my mouth.

For those who are saying mouthtape, can you recommend a product please?

Any bamboo silk ones on amazon would be my recommendation
