Mine is I can remember the barcode for a Cadbury crème egg. I worked in a co-op over twenty years ago and they often didn’t scan so you had to put the number in and I can still remember it.

That a kiwi contains ten times the nutritional content of any other fruit or vegetable, and that you should eat one first thing and wait at least 20 minutes before eating anything else.”

Not true sadly.

Kiwis ARE nutrient dense, rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, fibre and beneficial enzymes - but others can be higher, such as blackcurrants having a higher vitamin C content.

For digestion, there is no recommended specific timing relating to the morning, nor waiting to eat anything else, although some studies suggest for sleep improvements, kiwi can be most effective one hour before bed, not in the morning.

Emperor Penguins completely shed all their feathers which become disheveled and ineffective after the winter, and completely regrow beautiful new feathers.

They’ve been talking about that on the radio in the last few days - apparently due to ice melting sooner it’s feared a lot have gone into the sea sooner than they should have before the new set have regrown.Sad

Mine is that only female mosquitos bite. The males are apparently good for very little except breeding.

No idea why that particular piece of useless information has stuck in my mind... 😂

That Mr Bean is an alien, which explains the start of the show where he is beamed down!

People often say this but they are taking it too literally.
The opening sequence is a metaphor for the fact that Mr Bean appears like he’s from a different planet due to his strange behaviours. It doesn’t actually mean they intended him to be an alien.

C6H12O6 is the chemical symbol for carbohydrate. Thanks human biology GCSE 1988/89

H2SO4 - sulphuric acid. Never did chemistry after 3rd year but friend taught me ‘Willy was a chemist, Willy is no more, what Willy thought was H2O was H2SO4’

That all buses were originally green until they realised that they blended in with trees etc that it caused accidents and so they changed to red. Although there are many more colours now.

Had they never heard of people being red/green colour blind?😂

I think there's more to the visibility of a bus than its colour!

Edinburgh is further west than Bristol.

And Dumfries is further south than Newcastle

Is it? I live in Newcastle, and I'm pretty sure that Dumfries is West of me and slightly to the North (albeit not by much)
