Cheesecake recipe that isn't too cheesy

Ds says my cheesecake is too cheesy, by which I think he means it tastes too much like the cream cheese I made it with. I tried ginger and white chocolate and I thought it was alright!

Can anyone give me a recipe or any tips for a less cheesy tasting cold no bake cheesecake as I would like to expand my armoury of easy to prepare before entertaining desserts.

Try a key lime pie instead? Ginger biscuit base, filling is just condensed milk, double cream and lots of lime juice. The lime juice reacts with the cream and thickens the mixture - just whisk together and pour onto the biscuit base and chill in the fridge. Whip some double cream and spread on top, grate over a bit of lime zest. It's delicious!

This easy, make-ahead dessert delivers all the classic zest and decadence of key lime pie without the fuss.

I'm not a fan of cheesy cheesecake, so I use mascarpone as it's creamier and doesn't have a distinct cheesy taste. I only do refrigerated cheesecakes though, so you have to use a setting agent.

Swap the Philadelphia for mascapone.
