My maths consisted of ridiculous things like how far a yoyo would travel if the string broke. Completely and utterly useless. Of course I understand % and interest. But we had no direction on saving for retirement, loans and other basic financial aspects like budgeting. Which would have been far, far more useful

Whatever ever NEST take out of my wages. I can’t afford a private pension as only just meeting monthly outgoings.
