I actually quite love pench.

Same, I really appreciate people who use language playfully.

soch? I can't work that one out.

I am retired with a Teachers' Pension so I have nothing useful to say. I'm only here for the comments on Pench.

Social Security fund. She didn’t want to pay in because she says she won’t need the state pension. Ridiculous thread.

Always with this. Did you not learn percentages in maths then?
interest, percentages and compound interest are on the curriculum.

My maths consisted of ridiculous things like how far a yoyo would travel if the string broke. Completely and utterly useless. Of course I understand % and interest. But we had no direction on saving for retirement, loans and other basic financial aspects like budgeting. Which would have been far, far more useful

I only opened this thread because I thought a pench was a fish and I couldn't work out what the op was putting in a fish!

CupOfChardonnay · 29/01/2026 07:34

Thats a bit worrying, as the OP was asking how much we put in our pench.

Poor fish!!!

CatBusStop · 29/01/2026 07:51

I’ve got big pench energy

Bryonyberries · 29/01/2026 07:51

Whatever ever NEST take out of my wages. I can’t afford a private pension as only just meeting monthly outgoings.

waywardways · 29/01/2026 07:53

Unfortunately my potench pench currently is zench.

MagpiePi · 29/01/2026 08:08

Glad to see that I am far from the only one who blanched at 'pench', but the use of 'Q' is also irritating the fuck out of me.

waywardways · 29/01/2026 13:57

Read a thread where someone was referred to "occy health". Perhaps it was pench related?

Colleague referred to the Doctor they spoke to as the “Occy Doc”.
