Originally Dd was going on holiday with my ex and her 2 younger brothers. Hes not her dad but they used to be close, they sre not anymore and he removed her from the holiday. So me and her are going to spend some time together and do some things . Originally I booked a forest holiday afor us. As I thiught it would be something different. But then realised she probably wouldn't want to do the activities. Plus my budget for a holiday in August isn't great. So instead I thought we could do day outs/treats.

My budget is upto 850 at the very most. I have booked us in to see wicked at the theater.

I don't drive so I need to use public transport. I live in London.

This is what she won't like museums, spars, pamper type things. Heritage gardens/national trust. Theme parks..

It feels a bit hard because it doesnt leave much else. But hoping there may be something I haven't thought of.

How about a little day festival or one that stretches a couple of days - loads of them about and are such fun

I have taken my daughter to Blackpool a few times. Taxis are plentiful and cheap but tbh I would stay in a decent hotel by the sea front so you can walk most places. We took a taxi out to the zoo one day, also down to the pleasure beach. The ice dance show is really good BTW.

I have booked a hotel close to the seafront.
Is the ice dancing on in the summer ?

Yes. It is in a theatre located inside the Pleasure Beach. There is an evening show but also a shorter show in the afternoon. It's called Hot Ice. We have only been to the evening show. It's full of champion skaters - it's very good. There will be other shows on eg at the theatre. You can wait to see what you want to do - you shouldn't struggle to get tickets tbh.

Thank you I just had a look Blackpool air show may work. Thats actually free. Could maybe stay in a hotel over night 🤔

Following on from this, we have done Blackpool 3 years in a row for the illuminations. Blackpool Village Hotel is great, good breakfast, indoor and outdoor pools, nice lounge, on-site Starbucks and gym too. On several bus routes to the city or about 30-40 mis walk.

I just had a look. It looks lovely but its to much money for me. I have booked something basic. As long as its clean and we can sleep its fine.
