I buy Pour Moi bikinis, and I love them. I did have high waisted bikini bottoms with a bikini top, and it was fabulous. I only sold it because I went up a cup size, so wanted to sell as a set.

I hope you know that a bikini, by definition, cannot be high-waisted. What you are talking about is just a two-piece.

By the way, although people often gravitate to bikinis, which aren't flattering to most people, a two-piece with a little flirty skirt-ruffle can be adorable, and a sleek one-piece halter can be gorgeously flattering.

I have actually found Temu bikinis to be really good quality (same as expensive brands) and modest bottoms.

Aaah sorry I misread your post - you probably would prefer the shorts type bottoms - once again sorry

Thanks, I don’t want shorts, I just don’t like the cut around the front when they are high leg. Possibly because I am short, they seem to expose too much around the bikini line! Ideally I’d like some in the style of the M&S modal pants. They finish a few cms under the belly button, and curve round the top of the leg providing good bum coverage too!

Bjorkdidit · 13/01/2026 09:19

Counter intuitively, shorts can make you look bigger than pants style bottoms. I think it is because there is more material in the 'bottom' area.

I've had good ones from Snag and Joanie in the past and also decent high waisted period swimming pants from Modibodi. I'm a tall hourglass and find most other bottoms that claim to be high waisted cut in at an unflattering place on my hips. I tend to mix and match with a Bravissimo bikini top because getting top and bottom right from the same brand would be like finding a unicorn.

With a mum tum I feel your pain!

I got some bikinis from Amazon last year and they were great and not expensive. I was also surprisingly happy with the amount of support (I'm an F cup.

I bought a couple of these bikinis (wasn't expecting much) and I have to say they are great. You can adjust the sides to make them high leg or shorts style, and the quality is actually pretty good. Very flattering.

handsdownthebest · 13/01/2026 13:38

Hunza G do highwaisted and their one size.

As PP's recommend, Matalan ones are fantastic. I am wearing them now in the Canaries on hols...They wash well, keep their shape and are super comfy and very flattering.

Pair with good bikini tops of your preference - my go to is Fantasie ones. Once you go to a 2 piece, you'll never want to struggle with a swimsuit again - toilet trips easier, and they are a lot cooler and comfier.

They're expensive, but I really like the Melissa Odabash bel air bottoms. You can kind of move the folded part, so it either comes up higher or comes across a bit lower. I also like that they're sold separately from the tops, so you can mix and match sizes.

Also after a new high waisted bikini. Good to see that Pour Moi have been recommend a lot on this thread. As they keep coming on Google searches but I’m wary of using websites I’ve never used before

in the past I have got high waisted bikinis from M&S & in the summer Tesco. But I can never fond the right size or in stock when I want a bikini.

Acheyelbows · 13/01/2026 21:33

Don't purchase from Sea Fancy, it's a UK website but goods are shipped from China which takes a long time and I was asked to pay customs and shipping fees by FedEx when I had already paid a considerable shipping charge. I refused as their contract was with the shipper and they eventually delivered the package.

The customer service team were not helpful and one item was very poor quality but the returns would have cost more than I paid to purchase them. Wore the second item and it bobbled within two hours of wearing it in the pool and I was worried the fabric was going to tear. Waste of time and money.

OttersLoveFish · 13/01/2026 21:48

I resorted to Pour Moi after my Floozie by Frost bikinis seemed to disappear when I went buy more.

If you want to splash out, Hadley Smyth does beautiful costumes and bikinis www.hadleysmythe.com/collections/swimwear

Yikes!
