You mean he blamed someone else?

What a pointless regulator they are.

The problem is we have the media treating join reform like a baptism - the undertones of religion are all there is you know how to read.

Baptism is of course very much a "Christian" thing.

The Norwegian president of Parliament is at PMQs today and the Danish PM will be meeting Starmer tomorrow,

Badenoch links Greenland with Chagos so still kissing Trump's backside.

PM adds that Trump’s u-turn on Chagos deal was intended to put pressure on Starmer and UK over Greenland.

“He wants me to yield on my position, and I'm not going to do so, given that that was his express purpose.”

This was funny

Starmer says Badenoch is claiming sacking Jenrick was a sign of strength. But at that point she had already read his defection letter. What else was she going to do? Correct the typos and give it back.

Well she’s right that Trump has u-turned on Chagos to put pressure on Starmer to support his action on Greenland.
Also the £1 bn seat at the board of peace shenanigans.

It’s a fairly clear attempt to strong arm the UK.

It was Starmer who made the link. She was saying if he believes Greenlanders should control their land why doesn’t he think the same is true of Chagosians.
While I could see why Starmer kept banging the ‘not going to yield to Trump’ line I think he should also have pointed out it was a Tory deal, not a Labour one in the first place.

Easy to do from the sidelines, and simply to adopt a different position for the Tories I guess - personally I can’t think of a good reason as this really shouldn’t be a political party argument but all working together. Maybe she sees a benefit to her/party?
Her fantasy that Trump wouldn’t do this if she was PM is startlingly ignorant though.

DuncinToffee · 21/01/2026 12:49

Shadow transport secretary Richard Holden got kicked out of PMQs for being too noisy

In April 2022, Farage appeared in a video titled “New Money, New Rules” from Southbank Research, offering “the truth about c-word currencies”, in which he said he had bought c-word currencies.

He said: “Five years ago, c-word currencies were pure speculation. Yet now, making c-word a part of your plans just makes sense, doesn’t it? I have. A short while ago, I took a small amount of my money, I opened an account, I invested in c-. It wasn’t difficult, but I’m glad I did it and I’m not alone.”

But he "doesn't do computers"?

I put Trump at Davos on but he’s just lying. I can’t handle it. Why can’t they stop him?

He said US inflation is almost nothing, its 2.7% in December, was 2.9% under Biden...

Doubling down on Greenland.... apparently its connected to the USA.... and will not affect NATO...

Now talking about how the US 2020 election was rigged...

He is crazy

He is hbanging on about stolen elections now. He is unhinged.

Sorry x-posted with Alexandra. He has just said the thing about 8 wars and moaning and whining not being appreciated.

Alexandra2001 · 21/01/2026 14:13

& now the USA won WW2....

He has some serious cognitive issues, not unusual at his age but not good in a POTUS.

Fuckin scary!!

BUT he has ruled out military force....

PandoraSocks · 21/01/2026 14:14

It is terrible. He is seriously nuts. He is now talking about a golden dome like no other and that Canada should be grateful to the US.

Alexandra2001 · 21/01/2026 14:18

I wonder what the people at Davos really think?

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the bars tonight....

cardibach · 21/01/2026 14:21

I turned him off while he was still banging on about his ‘economic miracle’. Couldn’t stand it. Looks like it went from bad to worse. They should all walk out and leave him talking to an empty room. Surely they are too busy to waste their time with lies?
Sounds like a lot of it is designed to provide soundbites for his base. all the 3 friend accounts on threads are going on about past world wars currently.

I would say a lot of stiff drinks will be needed after listening to this.

I'm following the commentary but can't bear to listen to him.

cardibach · 21/01/2026 14:31

Same @LittleBowSheep - about listening anyway. I’ve currently abandoned the bbc live commentary too. Just too many lies. The cognitive dissonance is too great for me to cope!

Its on in the background for me.... & i'm not finding it the least bit funny, made worse that our opposition here are agreeing with him......

PandoraSocks · 21/01/2026 14:32

He is just endlessly meandering. But it is mostly about great he is.

Cheguevarahamster · 21/01/2026 14:34

Same @LittleBowSheep . cant bear to listen to him.
